I hope so. McNeil is visiting Clemson today and visited UGA. He tweeted a picture of Georgia's NC trophy. (I didn't think the coaches gave the crystal ball until after 1986? )

Two older guys with the best par of their careers being long behind them. Are you making a statement as to the similar status of the third guys better days?

Nah it's just that the two older guys are the only people to be worthy enough to even be compared to WMFC.

ETA: Coach Miles is one of his HS coaches and Geis is a teammate of his maybe? That's my best guess.

Who is DeMarcus Walker's high school coach? Maybe he's playing for Bama.

Also keep your eye on these big name 2014 guys, this is about the time of year we get one to go ahead and commit.

There you go, a teaching moment for your young padawan. Accuracy is not as important as the tone and delivery.

As of late last week, Blackshear (Ga.) Pierce County class of 2014 QB Tyler Harris just had plans of visiting Auburn on Sunday. That changed when the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder, who ranks as 247Sports’ top 2014 signal caller, received a call from Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.

Sunday marked Harris' first visit to the Capstone.
“We didn’t plan to go to Alabama. We got a last second call- Coach Kirby Smart called my head coach I think on Thursday and we were able to squeeze it in to where we could come and throw at Alabama. That was really the first contact we had with them," said Harris.

"I talked with Coach (Doug) Nussmeier, Coach Kirby Smart, and their new recruiting coordinator, Paul Gonnella. They said they really liked me and that I have a good arm. Coach Nussmeier told me he’d be recruiting me pretty hard. I think it went well.”

Harris was able to get an extensive tour of the facilities despite being on campus for a limited amount of time.

“We got to look at their weight room and it was really nice. They told us it was the biggest weight room in the country. We also saw where they’re getting ready to build their new weight facility. They said they’re going to have three new full length fields put in. They took us by the stadium and let us walk in there. The atmosphere was crazy. It was really nice.”

The visits to Alabama and Auburn are admittedly a lot for the Harris to process.

“They’re great schools. They have strong academics which is important to me. It’s been a lot to take in the past couple days. The indoor facilities are amazing. The traditions are great- you can tell there have been a lot of great people there. I don’t really know how to put it into words.

The class of 2014 four-star prospect is just getting started with summer visits with several more trips throughout the southeast on the docket.

“We’re going to try to get to Florida, Georgia, Florida State, South Carolina, and I’m going to try to come back to Auburn and Alabama as well. I’m open right now- I haven’t gotten to that point where I have top schools yet.”

Harris has a grade of 97 from 247Sports and is currently ranked as the no. 1 pro-style quarterback prospect in the nation.
