It was on his twitter after we won the NC. He was rooting for us so that's something at least. Only way I see him coming here is if he has a really good visit, but anything can happen so who knows.

It will be tough to beat Ohio St and Meyer, but Saban beat him for a few others like Trent and he highly covets him after seeing the film I can almost guarantee. I will also say you can see he wasn't expecting an offer or at least not one this early, we will only offer elite LBs in this class and only take a small group. We are in great shape right now

Do you mean Meyer? Or is he looking at MSU as well?

Joey Bosa Junior Highlights
Dude's a beast. If we get him and Nkemdiche I'd guess we would put one at DE and the other at Jack. Looks like we're in great position to land both right now.

I think Bosa would do well at Square's DE position, and someone like Adams at Williams' exposed DT spot.
Some said he was the best defender on STA his junior year, and that includes the likes of Bryan Cox Jr and Jelani Hamilton...

Watch out for tOSU with Bosa. Mom is an OSU alum.

He's been ours to lose for a while, I won't count out Meyer but Bosa will most likely be in crimson. He's also been close to committing a couple different times. I don't think he has visited tOSU yet.

You'll have to look for BWB, chilld, or TideSaint on that. I'm still stuck with Rivals for now...

I was more worried about his dad being a BC great than his mom going to tOSU.

Thanks. Yeah I heard that somewhere else. Imo him leaving wouldn't be that bad of a loss. He's a good coach but can be replaced.

I wonder who is on the short list if he does land that job? Pull Pendry out of retirement for a year? Neil Calloway? Will Friend? Stacy Searels?
Calloway would have 2 former players as GAs in Samuel and Smiley. Searcels seems the least likely, but was Saban's OL coach at LSU. Friend would be coming home, but I'm not sure if he's ready.

Chris Samuels??? doubtful, but would be interesting none the less.

Most of them over there doesnt think he will go. Dixie said that if he did go, he didnt think that Pendry would come out of retirement. He would probably still do what he can "behind the scenes". It'll be interesting to see who is on the list if he does decide to take it.

Doesn't have a 4 year degree.
Although I guess since he is already working towards one he could give it a shot. That would be an unreasonable amount of work for one person though.

At least give it to Smiley, he's been there longer

Only way I really saw Pendry coming back is if this was a really late move, but the Bucs can't draw out this hire either. They need someone in there before OTAs start.
I hope he doesn't go, but assistant coaching changes gets me excited...
