Hearing lately before the rumor surfaced that Coach Stout wanted to stay in college, but I also wonder if it might be a jiving issue with Nussmeier, hope not. I agree on Calloway, would be a slam dunk, and be able to groom either GA into a replacement. Despite being a terrible coach at UAB, he has 2 OL projected as 3rd to 4th rd picks this year. Also wonder if there is a coach Nussmeier would rather have as his OL position coach, lots of interesting scenarios.

Congrats to him if so, can't blame him for moving up the coaching ladder. At the same time, can't wait for the new blood
I still like the sound of Callaway, especially since he'd have 2 former pupils as GAs helping him out(although Smiley only had 1 year under him). Kinda like having 3(or at least 2 1/2) coaches teaching the same thing...
ETA: And the biggest fricking flock of birds I've ever seen just flew over my house. They perched, flew, perched, then flew away.

You think it would be easier to focus when you dont have to think about recruiting. Im not too worried about OSU. Columbus sucks huge balls.

THIS. Seems like a win win situation if he takes the Tampa job. He did a good job for us but his Shapiro links probably make our staff uncomfortable. The Tampa job would be a nice amicable parting for him and us.

Interesting thread on BOL regarding La TE DeSean Smith apparently Bama has a sizable lead. He is listed as the 3rd best TE, 2nd best prospect in Louisiana, 76th best prospect overall according to 247.
That would give us 2 elite TEs in this stacked class
