Auburn is who got Walker to delay his original announcement.

On a thread on VolNtion I weighed in on someone's comment about how they(UT) was going to beat UA. I guess they did not like my abalogy so some mod erased a few of my post.
I guess it is easy to talk big on the internet but when someone challenges you they have to run and cry I hurt their feelings.

At the end of the day, I guess that should be good news for the good guys, as we have been in the top 2 all along, but who knows what the Lupe/Troop crew are throwing out there...

I would hate to be a UGA fan. The only way they think they can get Jones is if UA adds another RB, not because they can actually recruit. Why do they pay their coaches if they can not recruit.

Prattville (Ala.) offensive tackle Austin Golson had an eventful spring. The 6-foot-6, 280-pounder and his teammates had to adjust to a new coaching staff all while several college coaches were by to check on the bookend tackle.
“I thought we had a pretty good spring. We played Davidson in our spring game. We got beat, but we had some good things and a few things we need to work on,” said Golson. “LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Stanford, and most of the SEC came by.”
Golson committed to Florida State prior to his junior season and says he remains firm in his pledge to the Seminoles.
“I’m pretty solid with Florida State. Both Coach (Dameyune) Craig and Coach (Rick) Trickett came by to see me. We’re just building a good relationship and talking about how I need to be ready to play and compete when I get up there.”
The commitment to Florida State hasn’t deterred programs from continuing to pursue the standout tackle, with the in-state Crimson Tide being among those chasing the hardest.
“Stanford, Alabama, and Tennessee are still recruiting me pretty hard. Coach (Kirby) Smart and Coach (Jeff) Stoutland came for Alabama. They just want to get me back on campus and talk about how they need me there.”
Golson plans on heading out to the West Coast to check out the Farm later in the summer.
“Stanford came twice. They talk about how they have a great education and football. I’m still learning about them and they seem like great people. I’m probably going to go out there at the end of July.”
The Yellowhammer State native plans to attend a few camps this summer, but will be unable to participate in the nation’s preeminent event due to a technicality.
“I got invited to the Opening, but I can’t go since there’s a rule about wearing shoulder pads in the offseason in the state of Alabama.”
BTW, what's up with this rule about shoulder pads in the offseason? That sounds pretty strange.

I need LSUFreak to make me a video. With Saban eating at a table throwing scraps underneath to a puppy.

Why did Golson commit so early to FSU?

Perhaps Golson is just full of shite? He did, after all, fall for Dameyune Craig's load of horseshite.

I know he was supposed to visit AU soon (don't think it's this weekend, but it's hard to find out how many guys show up & don't for BCW) if this is indeed true, which I have a few doubts until Gator gets here, but CG usually has good info, my questions:
1. UF was a major factor because he was close, so has he now, like I'm hearing with M.Thomas, decided he wants to move away from home, if this is so it is VERY good for Bama, nuff said
2. AU will primarily run a 4 man front, Walker is a pretty fast (for his size) athletic DE for a 3 man without a DOUBT! So I wonder what position AU is pitching him to spark interest, bottom line he is a MUCH better fit in a 3-4
3. GF & an uncle I believe have ties to Bama, and both are pushing for Bama, I BELIEVE mom was pro-UF last I heard, and it seemed like those were the only 2 schools involved, so how did AU get their foot in the door?
This is a very interesting development to say the least, & like Chad, new to me as well, but if this is in fact the case, my feeling is unless he has some serious issues with Bama adding Poggi & Nkemdiche soon, since both are likely DL at Bama, this could strengthen Bama's position

D Craig slandered AU & bashed their lack of good NFL prospects at OL recently & said "We have Trickett, most respected OL coach blah blah blah"
Just 1 of the many lies

Tennessee has avoided probation, so they are really only a solid coach away from contending again. You saw it a bit with Kiffin. Kiffin was recruiting like a motherfricker and he can coach. They gave much better teams fits. He would've had them competing, but then they wouldve been on probation. The only real bad thing about UT is there isn't a ton of in state talent.
