3 - 5 commits maybe more, it is the larger of the 2 Jr days and the ones that want a spot know that they have spots now
Toney will have a spot in this class if he doesn't have an injury, he is wary, but is a great athlete similar to T.Hayes he will not be left out if he wants to come to Bama

Wouldn't surprise me at all, I don't think Bama gets him, just thought I'd post it.

I'm gonna go pull the plug on that lake, then what will they have?
And by "pull the plug on the lake", I mean uncover their recruiting slush fund...

3-5? I'd be happy with one. Who do you think we'll get? I'm hoping Hill will commit, but I really don't know who else is coming. Maybe a few surprises?

UF was the favorite for Fullwood when we had Weis, much like Agholor and Diggs. I don't see the appeal of playing for that fat frick, but he could recruit. He must have been taking them out to steak dinners behind the scenes or sharing his donuts. It baffles me how much pull he had as a recruiter. Now, it looks like Fullwood is all but SS&D to Clemson.

Let me guess, they're telling him he's the next Sammy Watkins.

Already on the case. I've hired 2 separate private investigators. One of whom is.....Gene Parmesan. They're fricked.

Tide Insider did an article on David Elias / Dutchtown High today. Nice write up.

He's big time per dandydon, #5 in LA and better than all of LSUs commits, so far.

Slow off the snap? I think he ran a 4.7 at the LSU Camp and also saw on film run down JJ's little brother on a quick screen.

??? Just watched his YouTube highlight video and he seemed a little slow. Not horrible, just not elite.

There's 1 commit every year Bama takes that is questioned by many. They are usually players that "surprise" at one of the camps and doesn't have enough to justify an offer otherwise. Caleb Gulledge is the most recent example, although he did pretty well afterwards as Prattville's RT.
Maybe that's Elias? One of those big bodied players that impresses enough in the drills to garner interest and/or an offer. He looks like could be one of those players you can put 40-50 pounds on and play on either line.
I don't know why Bama would do that this year though when they have O-lineman and D-lineman throwing themselves at them left and right...

I believe I heard too that Elias is good friends with Collins and coaches watched A TON of LC's film, so I'm sure they've seen enough to make a judgement
Another one that comes to mind is Gentry, learned his position, strong as an ox despite size every time he came in he made the most of it, and another in 09 was Will Lowery, I remember seeing him at HHS thinking that guy won't play D1 and he started at OLB that year

I dont think its his strength that makes him good. Its all about his quickness and technique.

Agree, Gentry was quick off the snap and had good technique.
