No. I understand where he is coming from. I've been a RR supporter since before he was hired by Scout. He puts out good info, and since he's not an LSU graduate or fan he's unbiased.

Is it good news for Bama that marina isn't committing? Or is he just putting it off?

IMO, Santa Marina is more suited to play on the inside in college. If we take Bozeman and Hill, I don't see how we will have room for any more interior guys. I would rather us go after true tackles.

but if he committed right now his best offer is bama.

We probably offer when he camps.

I would be really happy if we offered Trey Depriest's brother Lovell Peterson from Ohio. He could play Guard or Center and he really likes Bama and Ohio State.

tOSU lock.

For some reason Braxton Miller has more of an effect on him than DePriest does. And he may not even play on offense...

Texas RB Keith Ford said he received a Bama offer on NSD.

Keith Ford Top 5

quote:

The 5-foot-11, 196-pound violent runner with 4.46-speed is closing in on 20 offers and has a top five. “Well, currently I have a top five, but that could change,” Ford said. “Any school that wants me, I will consider. I’m just looking for the best fit for me. My top five are Oklahoma, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Florida State and Alabama.” While Oklahoma and Notre Dame had offered before signing day, it was a Feb. 1 call that grabbed the attention of the all-around running back. “(Bama head coach) Nick Saban called and offered me on signing day. I was kind of shocked I got a call from Alabama,” Ford said. “I felt the same when FSU offered me. They have both been two of my favorites for a long time and to get calls from them was special. Coach Saban calling was pretty exciting."

I don't quite understand the reasoning for the Santa Marina situation on LSU's side of things but it is what it is.

Ford is a Florida kid so he's a lot more open than the normal Texas prospect. His recruitment will be interesting to watch play out. Likely a drama filled one on message boards.

Nkemdiche is visiting UGA tomm, Foster is there today I believe, I'm hearing it's not going as well as UGA had hoped

Apparently, someone's inside source needs a touch up, considering Nkemdiche visited on Saturday and Foster didn't make it at all.

Thx for the updates, he was close to coming and didn't. WOULD HAVE left early if he did, nothing to do with UGA though had a friends party or something to go too

My attempt to rile UGA fans was thwarted ah well, would've been much more believable had he showed up ha ha

According to Scout, Nkemdiche enjoyed his visit to Georgia. Said the coaches were honest with him.

He said he watched film with Coach Grantham and was told he could play anywhere from outside linebacker to the defensive end and nose tackle.
