@KevinScarbinsky Cooper Bateman on Smashmouth: Phillip Sims transfer did factor into his decision to commit to Alabama. But Nussmeier was biggest factor.

Posting your opinion was fine. Coming back here and posting about your post, using "gasoline" and "burn", which a reasonable person would construe as you admitting to a flame attempt, was not bright at all.

Someone from that thread promptly finding your post over here and reposting in that thread = owned. I do love your info and would hate to lose you to something so petty. Do better.

When we beat LSU again, thus place is going to be a ghost town.

Alabama lost Michael Dyer, and only one offensive lineman. Their QB can be improved this year and still not do well

I dunno man. If 1/9 didn't drive them away then nothing will. I gotta say, if the roles were reversed and we'd lost on 1/9 after winning the first matchup then i'd probably go nuts.

I think it'll be more like they ask for a rematch if they take the L

The ultimate would be to beat them in a close game in BR and then blow them out in Miami for the BCSNCG. That would be epic.

Its going to be an interesting year. If USCw beats Oregon twice. They will be in even with a loss, to say a team like Stanford. I just dont think there will be a rematch. Even if Oregon and USC split.
I also like the fact that we dont have a BYE in the LSU week. Plus all the pressure will be on LSU that whole week off and game week.

Here's an interesting question on a slow day: Why do you guys think Nkemdiche makes a point of mentioning LSU first when naming off his teams? Usually a player just instinctively names the school he's leaning to first or will name us because it seems naturally alphabetical. Nkemdiche seems to always say LSU, then us, then just rattles off the rest of the schools. I think he may be doing it on purpose to throw people off or to not be considered a Bama lock. Thoughts?

This is probably the correct answer, but it also may be because he is a silent to LSU like i've heard a few people say.

I think they just went into excuse mode after the shock wore off because the last thing they wanted to do was admit that we were the better team all along. If we beat them in BR this year it will send a lot of them over the edge. The cries for Miles to be fired will reach mid 2009 levels.
