I'm gonna really enjoy it when he comes to Bama. We've warned them for months. Once we have 3 of the top ten guys committed, the meltdown will be epic.
When Boots, Grady and Dixie are all saying RN to Bama, that one should be in the bag.

Well I hope you are right. If we got RN, Foster, Foster, and Allen the melt will be a sight to see.

This should stir up some shite:

quote:

“Coach Burton Burns [Alabama] came by the school today,” said Derrick Henry. “It was my first time ever seeing him. I spoke to him after the visit.

“I really like coach Burns a lot. We talked about Alabama. He talked about where he came from and the backs he has coached. We talked about the program and coach Saban. It was really great speaking to him.”

The long-time Georgia commitment just recently started thinking more about the 2011 BCS National Champions.

“It really didn’t jump off until about three weeks ago,” Henry said. “I started talking to my coach. We had a serious talk. We talked about the positives of Alabama. We feel like Alabama is the place to go.

“I am not saying my coaches are swaying me to go to Alabama. They are not doing that at all. We are just laying out everything. The fact Alabama has coach Saban and all the things they bring to the table really sticks out to me.”

Henry has built a strong relationship with the Tide coaching staff. Alabama assistant coach Jeremy Pruitt was named one of the top recruiting coaches in the country. He is in charge of Henry’s recruitment.

“I like coach Pruitt a lot,” Henry said. “He is very smooth. He really talks to you. He talks about how everything works if you were come there. They have plans for their players. He talks to you about what you want in a college and how they can help you.

“I talked to coach Saban about three weeks ago. We talked about many things. We talked about the Alabama program. We talked about the players they have there now and the freshmen. We talked a lot about Alabama and the academics they have to offer.”

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound prospect knows Alabama produced two of the best backs in the country who have gone in the first round of the NFL Draft the past two years.

“It’s very exciting to think about the possibility of running the ball in Alabama’s offense especially with the success their backs have had,” he said. “They had Trent and Mark. Both of those guys are physical backs. I love lowering my pad level and delivering the blow. I also like catching the ball out of the backfield.”

Henry will visit Alabama June 8th. He traveled to Tuscaloosa last fall when the Tide hosted LSU in November.

“I went to the LSU game,” Henry said. “That’s why I am going back. I loved it up there. I really enjoyed it. It’s all about Alabama football. When it’s football season the fans are all about it. I didn’t get to see the whole campus while I was there. I will get to do that in a few weeks.”

“When I went to the game up there I really enjoyed it. I like everything about their program. There is nothing not to like about them. Just seeing the players and the big game atmosphere up there stands out. When you see how the players react and all the ones who go in the NFL Draft there is nothing not to like about them.”

What about his verbal pledge to the Bulldogs?

“It’s not that solid as it was,” Henry said. “I am really open. I am looking at schools in my top group. I want to make sure I make the right decision. I am going up to Alabama, and when I leave I hope to know where I am going to go. The visit to Alabama is all I have planned along with The Opening in Oregon.”

How many minutes do you think it will take the Bulldawg fans to respond to this gem of an article?

The mustache ride is a douche, but he's got good info. I'm not sure which one is Grady. Dm has almost always been spot on.

If only Helenatider said it was happening. Then it would be a lock

That's his handle. Maybe a little something added with it but you will know when he posts by the reaction to his news.

Unless Henry can bring us Tunsil, I'm not sure I'd want to risk losing Jones. It sounds like they are recruiting him as a RB though. I just don't see it. He's too tall. Even if he did a better job of running behind his pads, he is too tall.

Just checked and it's Grady Jr.

This was his post from a few days ago.

Ok I talked to My Source, same one that's Always been spot on. Was right on with Landon Collins and so on.. But just talk to him and I got to share The Biggest and Baddest D lineman on 247 and Rivals will be in Crimson, but will enjoy the process of " trips ". He has NOT been wrong with anything he has let me in on so I have zero reason to believe otherwise now. Roll Tide. I'm pumped.
