He ended up better than Groves because of his run stopping ability. I saw mock drafts of him in the top 5 but he later dropped like a rock because he didn't hold up well against it.

I'm liking the Allen pickup, but he's gonna need to put on some weight. I've seen him listed as low as 225 lbs, and as high as 245.

You and I can, and have in the past, have a decent conversation about this type of stuff.
You had to have seen my post about schools negatively recruiting against Alabama when it comes to black QBs. Why is that not taboo? Just because we've never had a black QB play lights out for us means we won't ever start one? Dameyune Craig used that shite against us with Winston last year and it got zero play around here.
Look, I'm all for doing whatever it takes to get a great player, sans cheating, but sometimes we don't know all of the facts. Not everyone we are recruiting for the Jack spot is promised that spot. I'm sure they are told they could "possibly" play that position if they play hard and earn it. There's nothing wrong with telling a guy what positions he COULD play if he signs with us, as long as we make it clear that they would have to EARN it.

The only way I can forgive Hackenberg
for his treachery is if in 3-4 years, when Drew Brees retires, he gets selected by the Saints and leads New Orleans to another Super Bowl title. If he doesn't do that, he will always get a after his name. 
Now, if Bateman does like you said and brings home multiple NCs, I could make an exception.

According to Jon McNamara of BadgerBlitz.com, our Wisconsin site on the Rivals.com network, Immokalee (Fla.) defensive back Mackenro Alexander has been offered by Tennessee. Mackenro, a three-star safety, is the twin brother of four-star cornerback, and former Tennessee commitment Mackensie Alexander. Mackensie told McNamara that the offer 'could be a changer'.
Mackensie originally was commited to UT.

Alexander is headed to the last school he visits. He's been committed to UT before and decommitted after a month.

Someone on here probably 20 pages back said Allen measured 6'2.5 and 244lbs on his visit this weekend...
