They don't have to watch...oh you mean in the lavatory.

Well...ah...er...have you noticed that there's a razor slot in there? Are people really shaving in there?

I think it is Little Traverse Lake in Michigan. I say I think because I pulled it off google, and while it looks like the right lake, Im not 100 percent sure. My family has had a lakehouse there for almost 70 years. Ill post a picture when I get up there this weekend.

Austin Allen committed to Arkansas

Congrats. I really do like Allen, but I'm more than happy with Bateman. I guess we can both be happy that we got a QB that we actually wanted as opposed to taking the scraps left over by the rest of the SEC. **cough LSU, Auburn cough**

Hey, LSU wanted our QB. And we wanted Johnson over Allen and Mitch.

And UF still doesn't have a QB

Not anymore. Other than Jason Smith from McGill, but he won't stay at QB once he gets on campus if he comes to Auburn

I thought Rettig was your top target...

Who is Jason Smith favoring anyways? If the kid is really dead set on playing QB, he probably wont end up in the SEC I wouldnt think. He looks like a great athelete but I have a hard time taking him seriously as a QB..

Did Auburn seriously want Johnson over Allen or was it more of a case where Auburn was not really in the game for Allen?

From what I've heard from a guy who had some inside info on the QB recruiting, Rettig has a bit of an attitude that Loeffler wasn't too fond of.

No clue. He wants to play QB, but he'll end up at AU or Bama, and he'll move to WR or DB

We never offered or showed much interest, so I assume we wanted Johnson more

Congrats on the pick-up. I was hoping that Arkie got Allen because Bama found their guy and Auburn said thanks but no thanks to Allen.

I think Allen's family being so heavily integrated into the University of Arkansas football program kept his recruitment from really taking off.

Charles Power from BOL agreed with me.

Yes, his dad has worked on both Nutt's and Petrino's staff and they have lived in Fayetteville since Austin was 3. The only reason people thought he might leave Fayetteville was because of rumors that he didn't want to sit behind his brother again who was a RSFr this year for Arkansas. However, Austin shot those rumors down recently as well as confirmed the fact that he had no problem committing to a school that was planning on taking two QB's.

It's nice to be able to start focusing on our #2 QB commit this early considering we are without a true head coach.

Anyone have any thoughts on Jaren Johnson?

A couple weeks ago, I thought we might try to bring in a true 2nd QB - someone like Ferguson or even O'Korn. But the more I looke at the numbers and prospects at other positions, the less I see that happening. Now Im thinking maybe we'd take Jason Smith as the 2nd QB in the class and let him give it a shot with the probability that he moves to WR or DB.

I know that one poster on BOL said he would be at Bama.
