No doubt. He's a complete attention whore just trying to get more twitter followers. While I could see him waiting it out a while longer, it just seems like he wants to get it out of the way pretty soon so he can actually focus on other things. A lot of these kids try to get their decisions out of the way so they can focus on their seasons and just trying to enjoy their senior years.

Foster is a bit of a long shot for us, but there have been a few rumors lately saying that the Bateman commitment may have helped significantly in our pursuit of Foster.

Qb def matters and Bama has a huge lead in that dept.

He's fricked if he goes to Clemson or Texas, which are the two other schools he seems to be really interested in. They would coddle the shite out of him and let his ego grow exponentially. Saban would cut that shite out in hour one of day one.

PedoBear State has Hackenberg committed. He is as good, or better, than Bateman.

It did and the staff feels very confident that they lead and will land Foster, but important to remember it is very close to the vest for him and his family since he is from Pa and lots of pressure, kinda like the LC recruitment, also Ohio St is desperately trying to get back involved. The reason why Bateman helps us tremendously is he has skyped with Foster several times
And on RN you're starting to get the picture TRich

By the time he gets going, foster will be nfl eligible.

Hackenberg?
He'll more than likely start...
1) As a true freshman when McGloin graduates
2) As a redshirt freshman after Bolden leaves (I've heard he's 3rd string now)
I'm banking on him starting as a true freshman. He'd be Penn State's best option.

I didn't know they were like that.
Whatever feels good I guess...

Don't ask Saint
I will say this though, Robot Bateman is A LOT more energetic and likable etc than Hack
and we have a recent history with Julio of an elite WR, also helps, you guys don't hear a lot about him because of how close fam is keeping the process but Bama leads

But how effective will he be? I have no clue on what puss recruited or how good their new coach is.

You don't think he can beat out the shite they sent out there against us last season?
I think both of them will end up starting as freshmen or sophomores. If Foster likes Bateman more that can only help us though.

DAMN Auto correct on this iPad

Yeah and they were true freshmen too, nevermind bolden being a top qb recruit. Funny how that works.

Yep, Foster will be a difficult pull out of Pennsylvania. Hopefully we can get him down for an OV this fall when Bateman is there.
I've always thought Nkemdiche was Bama bound, just a matter of when he will commit. He said himself that was tempted to commit at our 1st junior day in January but decided to hold off. Then there was the May 18th date that he decided he was not ready for. I'm just wondering if he is going to have a whole announcement planned or if he will just commit and tell the services.

How effective will Bateman be, and when will he start?
These are all questions that none of us can answer. I certainly don't see (which is my personal opinion) Nick Saban trotting a true freshman out at quarterback next season if McCarron goes PRO this year. Knowing that, the job might be a toss-up between Ely or Morris. And let's say it is just for shits and giggles; would Bateman want to sit behind them until they graduate? Ely will be a sophomore next season and Morris a redshirt freshman.
Like I said, we don't know what will happen. We could see another Phillip Sims scenario, or not.

That's more likely to happen at auburn.

Darius Paige discusses Bama commitment
May, 20, 2012
By Corey Long ESPN.COM
Pensacola (Fla.) Washington defensive lineman Darius Paige committed to Alabama this past Friday after Crimson Tide coaches came by his school on a visit.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound prospect becomes the 13th commitment for the Crimson Tide in the Class of 2013.
"I was offered by Alabama in late January and the coaches came back on Wednesday to see if I was ready to commit," Paige said. "I went home and thought about it with my family for a couple of days before making the decision.
"Alabama always felt like a good fit to me and now I've lifted a weight off my shoulders and can focus on my senior season."
Paige had offers from Louisville, Kentucky, UConn, Florida International, Arkansas State, Tennessee State and South Alabama.
If Paige sticks with his commitment he will be the latest in a strong group of Alabama signees that hail from Florida's panhandle. The most well-known player of that group is recent first-round draft choice Trent Richardson, who played at Pensacola Escambia.
"The Pensacola players have definitely made a mark at Alabama and Trent Richardson took it to another level," Paige said. "I just want to work hard and one day hopefully the fans at Alabama can talk about Darius Paige the way they talk about Trent Richardson now."
Paige said he is going to visit Alabama again over the summer and expects to stay committed for the long haul. He is going to work on having his teammate, wide receiver Dejon Funderburk, join him in Tuscaloosa. Funderburk was offered by the Tide at the start of 2012.
"Hopefully he can join me at Alabama so we can keep the pipeline going," Paige added. "We're really good friends so I'm going to talk with him about it."
