I live down the street from where carver plays. I've yet to be impressed by Johnson. He could be a good player if he switched positions.

Just cuz you live near him doesn't mean you've watched him much or know anything about him

During his sophomore and junior seasons, Johnson combined to complete 62 percent of his passes (385-of-618) for 5,087 yards and 48 touchdowns. Johnson threw for more than 200 yards in a game 16 times including a career-best 316 yards against Auburn High in 2010.
Looks a tad bit impressive, especially considering he goes to a basketball school that usually isn't great at football

To what other positon?

He's pretty athletic. He's listed at 6'6", 215. There's a few positions you could move him to.

Carver has been pretty good at football the last 5-6 years, but he does play against some pretty bad competition.

Thanks for reminding me of this. Now I remember you posting this a while back.

He definitely has some good highlights in here and his running ability is very underrated.

I believe he is bigger than 215, 6'6 at that weight is pretty skinny, film I saw he looked at least in the 230+ range

...And a better question, why the he'll are we discussing an AU QB commitment when Bama is on the verge of landing 2 5 stars

Is Carver the Oregon of Alabama high school football? Seemed like they had a different uniform combo in every highlight.

Looks to me like his throws are all arm. He's got ideal size so if they can straighten out the mechanics he could be a good one.

2? Allen and who else? Robert Foster? Nkemdiche isn't committing until later in the summer, sometime around July I think.

Foster Isn't gonna commit this early, we are gaining steam and have a lot of Mo at the moment and it's only gonna heat up when Allen commits

I'd actually expect Nkemdiche to push it back to NSD (or November if he EE's; I have no idea if he's eligible to EE). I still expect him to go Bama, but he is digging the shite out of this attention right now

That's understandable. I could see Foster waiting it out. I think the Bateman commitment may really help us in gettin him though.

If he comes to Bama, I hope Cyrus fricks him up in his first practice.

Haha, they might be. I passed by their school the other day, for the first time, and it's one of the nicest schools I've seen here in Central Alabama. Although, that's not saying much. I'm used to seeing trashy looking schools like Wetumpka, Tallassee, Elmore County, Reeltown, Ben Russell, etc. They might have some money to waste like Oregon.

Yea, I think he could be good once he got down some mechanics and foot work. He looked pretty good while all of that was terrible on film. Like I said, I like his running ability. You don't hear many talk about it because he likes to pass, but the ability to is there. I like his size too. He could grow into a 6'5-6'6 240-245 pounds quarterback.

No man, he's announcing this summer. He's going to narrow it down to 3 schools a few weeks before making a decision and he may visit those schools one more time this summer. He's growing tired of the recruiting process.

I haven't seen anything that would indicate Robert Foster committing to Alabama. Doesn't Penn State lead?

Well he was supposed to commit this month and pushed it back for no discernible reason other than he wanted to take more visits (he's Bama bound. You know it, I know it, nobody seriously thinks he's going elsewhere).
I wouldn't be surprised if he shuts things down for a while to get ready for the season, but I'll be surprised if he actually commits publicly this summer. His twitter acct is so attention starved, asking for retweets. Kid may be weary of the whole process, but he's loving the attention

ETA: And I don't blame him for the attention. Live it up while you can, cause as RoboSanta suggested, he'll get some humbling in Summer camp

Most have said that Pitt was the leader. His top 3 is Bama, Penn State and Pitt and.

I know this

You'll see just trust me, he's still gonna narrow it down, all this is just gonna happen way sooner than everyone thinks and yes you are right he is growing very tired of the recruiting process especially when the school he is going to commit to has a lot of momentum and is racking up commits

Not even psu fans believe that. Bama prob leads, but Pitt fans think they have a shot.

I've heard that Pitt and Penn State lead, obviously from different sources (it's hard to tell which source is right). But I haven't heard anything from Alabama's side except from BuccWild every now and then.
