Ya he is.
Well I guess I shouldn't waste my time trying to reason with him.

First watched EJ's film about a year ago and I've been very high on him since then although it's difficult to project a guy that far out. He reminds me a lot of Tebow with his combiniation of size, power, and running ability. We are the team to beat but I'm sure many schools will be telling him that he doesn't belong in a pro-style offense.
As for the rankings, Michigan had a huge lead this time last year too. It's way too early to be declaring anyone the winner.

Michigan had a huge lead last year because of # of commitments. They fell off because other schools caught up in numbers, but had more 4 stars. That's not going to happen again.

They have more commits than anyone else right now too don't they?
Posted on 4/25/12 at 1:19 pm to Chadaristic
They also have 15 4 stars. Last year it was split between 4s and 3s. They are going to end up with 1-2 5 stars, 20 4 stars and 2 3 stars. No one is going to catch them.

That would be a great class.

Ohio State, Bama, and Texas all have average star rankings roughly equal to Michigan's and with the exception of Michigan, most teams aren't even half way done with their classes yet. Michigan has a very strong class so far and they're in the running for several more great players, but it's just too early to declare them tops.
It was same thing with Texas for many years. They would jump out to a huge lead (due to quantity and quality) and everyone would claim that their lead was insurmountable by the time summer started, but someone usually would catch them in the end. Michigan is the frontrunner but I would take the field if I had to bet on it.

•UA targets Auburn commit
•Brother of Tide OL gets offer
•Point guard options for 2013
•And more...
Peach State visitors
At the Atlanta NFTC over the weekend, we found out that ESPN 150 running back Alvin Kamara wants to play with Alabama commit Reuben Foster and UGA commit Tray Matthews at the next level. Click here for more. Whether or not the three end up together remains to be seen, but the trio may have plans to visit Tuscaloosa together this weekend. Kamara has been invited to visit UA on Friday for a draft party with the Crimson Tide and Foster said he and Matthews plan to visit Alabama very soon. Could the three be planning a trip for this weekend? Only time will tell but it’s not out of the realm of possibility to see the ESPN 150 trio ultimately sign with the Tide on signing day.
As for Kamara, he’s seen his recruitment begin to take off. This week alone, the Norcross, Ga., back has had coaches from Cal, Florida, Georgia Tech, Miami and USC stop by his school to see him. He said he’s expecting UA defensive coordinator Kirby Smart to come by in the near future. After recently spending five days in Tuscaloosa on a visit, Alabama is considered to be one of the favorites to land his signature.
Tide targets AU commit
Alabama’s defensive coordinator has his eye on another top defender from the Peach State, a linebacker currently committed to in-state rival Auburn. ESPN 150 star Trey Johnson committed to the Tigers last August but that hasn’t stopped the Crimson Tide coaching staff from recruiting him. Smart keeps in regular contact with Johnson, who has expressed interest in possibly visiting Tuscaloosa this summer. “There’s interest there just because it’s almost like a powerhouse there. I might go there just to see what they’re talking about one day. I’m not sure when, probably this summer sometime,” Johnson said. Although his commitment to Auburn is solid, the Lawrenceville, Ga., native is planning to take all of his official visits in the fall. The three schools he already knows he wants to take officials to are Auburn, Miami and USC.
California connection
It’s never easy for Alabama to pull in a player from California, but it helps when that player’s brother plays for the Crimson Tide. On Monday, UA head coach Nick Saban called and offered La Mirada, Calif., athlete Tyler Luatua, brother of current UA offensive lineman Issac Luatua. Tyler was excited to receiver the offer, not only because it was from one of the premier programs in the nation, but because of the chance to play with his brother. The Tide like the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder as a tight end at the next level. With the offer, Alabama is now at the top of his list, but he wants to wait before pulling the trigger. Offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier is expected to visit Tyler next month.
Winning quarterbacks
Since the arrival of Saban, Alabama has tended to sign quarterbacks who come from high-profile, winning atmospheres in high school. Greg McElroy played at Southlake Carroll in Texas. AJ McCarron led St. Paul’s Episcopal (Mobile, Ala.) to a state championship. Phillip Ely played in three Florida state title games for Plant High School and 2012 signee Alec Morris was under center for Allen High School, one of the top programs in Lone Star State. That’s what makes 2013 signal caller and Brentwood Academy star Max Staver that much more attractive. Former Tide OC Jim McElwain loved his film and told Staver he expected Alabama to offer after they say him throw in person. McElwain is gone now but UA coaches still remain high on the 6-foot-6 passer, and he hopes to land an offer this summer when he throws for them.
All quiet on Pollard
Nothing has come out of the Devonta Pollard camp since his visit to Georgetown last week. Originally, Pollard was expected to make his decision the week after he returned from his final visit but it looks more and more like that decision will get pushed back at least another week. The signing period officially ends May 16 but don’t expect the ESPN 100 star to wait until the last minute like Trevor Lacey did a year ago. Pollard still has the same final group of Alabama, Georgetown, Missouri and Texas.
2013 point guards
Alabama thought it had its point guard for 2013 when Jaren Sina committed over a year ago, but that changed when the New Jersey native reopened his recruitment this past fall. The Tide coaching staff remains high on Sina but it’s also exploring other options at the position. One player who UA has been in contact with recently is Texas point guard Kendal Harris. Harris said he talks regularly with the Alabama staff and believes they may offer soon. He already has over a dozen offers including Kansas State, LSU, Marquette, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. Alabama is also recruiting his AAU teammate Jordan Mickey, an ESPN Super 60 prospect in the class of 2013.
Your welcome. Does this count as a favor?

It took just a few reps, just a few one-on-one battles for Montravius Adams's recruitment to change.
He showed up the the Rising Seniors Junior Bowl in Atlanta with one offer in hand. It came from Clemson. That all changed in the first few minutes of the first practice at the Jr. Bowl.
Adams' dominance in one-on-on drills against the state of Georgia's top defensive linemen was the talk of the competition. It directly led to his 19 offers from the best football programs in the country.
It's of little surprise, then, that Alabama has made the nation's No. 1 defensive tackle a priority as the Crimson Tide staff enters spring evaluation.
For his part, Adams is high on Clemson, which gave him his first offer. But Alabama is high on his list, too.
Adams was scheduled to attend Junior Day in February but wasn't able to make it. But he told TideSports.com that he plans to get to Tuscaloosa soon.
"They have been good on defense, like forever," Adams said. "That's what I have noticed from them. If I go there, I know they would be good."
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive lineman has kept in touch with Alabama coaches, who have made Adams a top priority.
"I would probably start as a freshman," Adams said. "They want me real bad. They are high on me, they think I'm real strong and I can win a championship with them."
Adams currently plays in a 4-3 system and said he prefers his current formation, but would not be opposed to switching to a 3-4 style like the one ran in Alabama's defense.
He said Alabama coaches see him most likely moving to the defensive end position if he were to commit. However, the confident defender believes he would fit anywhere he is told to line up.
When asked if he would feel comfortable at the nose guard position, Adams replied, "Yeah, I can do anything."
Despite his interest in Alabama, Adams said he has no leaders in the recruiting process as of now and will wait until after his senior season before trimming down his options.
As a top recruit, Adams said he is enjoying the recruiting process. However, coaches are not the only ones vying for the elite defender's commitment. The Dooly County standout keeps getting recruiting pitches from a trio of Georgia Bulldog 2013 commitments. Brice Ramsey, Shaquille Wiggins and Tray Matthews are selling the hometown Bulldogs to Adams.
"They are just telling me how good it is," Adams said. "They are just saying how good it would be if I went there."
Adams admits occasionally some of what the recruits are pitching to him sets in. However, he said he still plans to take the recruiting process slow and focus on his commitment much later down the road.
Adams said he would like to visit Tuscaloosa in the summer if he is able to make it up to of the Alabama camps.

All indications are pointing at Auburn leading for him. Not sure what makes us the favorite at this point.

I find this thread frustrating because if I want to find out about a certain player, there's no organization to see what y'all are saying.
Not like you can help me with this. We don't even have a rapport.
