Yep. They signed 2 from there last year. I thought we had a shot with Terry Richardson for a little while but then Michigan showed interest and it was all over.

Evidence from the last three years suggests that NFL teams have made good on their investment with Alabama players, no matter how late they grab them in the draft. Of the 16 who have been drafted since 2009, 10 have started at least nine games and all but one (running back Glen Coffee) are still on the active roster of the team that drafted them. Of the five active players who haven't started nine games, two were selected in the seventh round (St. Louis defensive back Marquis Johnson and New York Jets quarterback Greg McElroy), one is his team's full-time punt and kick returner (Kansas City defensive back Javier Arenas), one was a consistent contributor during his rookie season (New Orleans running back Mark Ingram) and one has yet to see the field because of multiple injuries (Atlanta offensive guard Mike Johnson). "You get a guy that is accustomed to the NFL system," Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith said at February's NFL combine in Indianapolis. "Coach Saban's offensive and defensive schemes are very conducive to performing in the National Football League. The way Coach Saban has prepared his guys, you know they're going to be prepared. They understand the importance of preparation in the workweek."

well after we put a beat down a Michigan maybe it will change the minds of some kids. Plus, after the draft the program should get a bit of a boost nationwide.

None of the Michigan kids will de-commit.

Bobby Williams went to visit Shane Morris today. Even less of a chance he flips than Dawson.

Shane Morris would be outstanding, but it'll never happen imo either.

Did anyone see the ESPN tweet about OJ Howard wavering from his Auburn committment? Man, they're on top of EVERYTHING!

ESPN should either drastically improve their recruiting staff or just quit.

@S_Morris12: #WordsYouWillNeverHearMeSay I'm de-committing from Michigan."

Props to him for being 100% solid unlike most recruits these days.

Yea, I mean the first sign of their mediocre efforts is the fact that their player rankings come out after Scout, Rivals, 247, etc...and not only after then, but close to 2 months after them. I do like their format, though.

He's been Michigans lead recruiter. He said last year his goal was to have the #1 class in the country, and it looks like he will be successful.

IMO they favor the guys that play at their all star games, and Lugenbill is a total douche.

They haven't ran away with yet, but their class is shaping up to be phenomenal, at least on paper. I really like Hoke too, I think he's a solid coach.

Its pretty much over for ESPN, and 247 isnt that far behind. 15 4 star commits.
Posted on 4/25/12 at 12:36 pm to TreyAnastasio
So no love for EJ Moss, huh?
Anyone?
Anyone?

Our future 5-star commitments will overshadow Michigan's 4 star kids. It's not like our non-5 star kids are slouches either. From here on out, everyone we get should be ranked very high.

Honestly, I only pay attention to 247 and I could see Texas or Alabama making a late push to catch them. Both would have to close very strong though.

He is being recruited as an athlete as of now, will have to improve a lot to be considered for QB

Morris will get a 5th star, and they will only take 4 stars from here on out. Id be surprised if anyone caught them.

Are you serious, Clark?
Have you watched his film? He has a cannon for an arm and a very smooth delivery. Granted most of his FRESHMAN highlight video is him running the football, but not many high school coaches are gonna run a pass heavy offense with a FRESHMAN as his starting QB. Considering he has two more years of high school football left, I'm willing to bet he will throw the ball much more down the road.
Unfortunately there isn't anything online pertaining to his sophomore season, but I just asked the mods over at BOL to give us an official update on him.
ETA: BTW, aren't you the guy who said Johnathan Allen wasn't a take?
