I think he's being looked at because he's the starting QB of one of the best high school powerhouses in the nation, not because he is Bosa's teammate.

I was looking around comparing his measurables to recent great SEC safeties (Barron & Berry). I used statistics from actual events they performed at instead of their listed attributes from recruiting websites to get an accurate portrayal of their true ability.
Berry = 5'11" & 194 pounds. 40 time: 4.55, Shuttle time: 4.81, Vert: 37.5
Barron = 6'2" & 200 pounds. 40 time: 4.52, Shuttle time: 4.66, Vert: 36.6 inches
Collins = 6'0" & 199 pounds. 40 time: 4.43, Shuttle time: 4.48, Vert: 43.6
I'm absolutely amazed at Collins athletic ability. The vertical jump is heralded as one of most successful predictors of potential success in a football player by the NFL. The vertical jump tests the explosiveness of your whole body. On top of that, Collins 40 time and Shuttle time are simply amazing. He has been running track all spring so you can tell he is dedicated to keeping his speed up.
I know it's hard to come in and contribute in a Nick Saban schemed defense but I think Collins sheer ability will make him a contender.

Collins' potential is through the roof right now. I excited to see him this Fall.

Wish he would have come in early.

GGGGOOOOOD you ain't kidding
Would've pushed for a starting spot, but I think we will be pleasently surprised with Vinnie "The Hitman" Sunseri (nickname copywrited)

I'm sure LC will make his fair share of plays on ST's. I can see him being too hyped up after a big hit and Saban telling him to calm the frick down.

Found some O'Korn vids
He actually looks a lot like Max Browne in that first video. Tall, lanky kid. Above average arm. Needs coaching on his footwork. Didn't take one snap from under center
I, too, am holding out hope on Bateman, but O'Korn wouldn't be a bad last resort.

Agreed on O'Korn Saint...I wanna see more, like an extended vid, shocked we don't have one since it is Aquinas

Three-star prospect Reginald Carter hasn't received an offer from Alabama, but with aspirations to play football beyond college, he said he would have to give the Crimson Tide serious consideration if an offer came through.
"I know if I want to be great, that's the spot," Carter said.
The 216-pound linebacker from South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Ga., has received offers from Florida State, Georgia, Nebraska, South Florida, UCLA and many others and said there are no leaders right now in his recruitment. He just recently visited Tuscaloosa and walked away impressed with how Alabama practiced and how the entire team was involved. Carter said he liked how even the fourth-string players got plenty of reps in practice.
Carter shook hands with coach Nick Saban and also met with several other coaches, including defensive coordinator Kirby Smart and strength and conditioning Coach Scott Cochran. He liked the energy and intensity of both Smart and Cochran but it was Cochran's intensity that left the lasting impression on Carter.
"He's a live dude, you can tell he gets after it," Carter said. "And it shows with the players."
Carter said his strengths are his speed, strength and game IQ. He also said those are the three areas he would like to improve on most. His goal is to play professional football and he knows he may have the chance to do that if he suits up for the Crimson Tide.
"(Smart) knows the position, I'll tell you that," Carter said. "Just look at all the first-rounders they've had at linebacker recently."
He said he believes he fits in well with Alabama's defense and his style of play is comparable to the recently-departed Courtney Upshaw. His high school runs a 3-3-5 defense, but in passing situations, Carter will line up as a defensive lineman from time to time. He said believes playing for a team like Alabama will help him prepare mentally and physically to play at the highest level.
For now, Carter has to focus on his next step of playing college football. He said he wants to make his decision by the end of spring or the beginning of summer and does not want to drag it out all the way to signing day.
"I just want to get the process out of the way," Carter said. "I want to be able to focus on football."

It was a bad enough tattoo already

Knew this would be put on the Rant, and to no surprise a AU fan put it there.

2014 RB Stanley "Boom" Williams from Georgia .... "committed but open" is a phrase he used when talking to me a couple of times.
Gville this weekend. Bama next weekend. Just checked out LSU.
I think his recruitment is far from over.
Ran a 4.39 40 at our Rivals camp 2 weeks ago in Marietta.

I am sure this is Germans but who was the QB that has emerged as a Bama target? Is it that kid that was supposed to be an LSU lock?

Huh?
What QB would that be? Mitch? Barrett? Bateman? Kincade? Sandburg? Johnson?
None of those were called LSU locks.
