In the loss to the Southwest team, the Southeast team's Taj Williams made his presence known with a nice catch and then had to play some defensive back as well. O.J. Howard again had a really good game and Jalen Ramsey had another good game.

And what's the deal with some bitching about a penalty that should have cost the SE one of their TDs?

When everyone was calling Jordan Jenkins to Bama

No offense anyone can call a recruit 100% months before it happens and if it works out they get ecred. But I will tell you that I knew in Dec Jenkins was not going to UA but UGA. So I had already heard that from several UA insiders a month before it happened.

Jalen Ramsey picks off Hackenberg. I really hope we can pull this kid, probably a longshot though

I can't argue with this, but JHD has been right on a lot of things about Foster's recruitment so far with the exception of which high school he was going to. He was supposed to go to Sandy Creek but couldn't play right away so he went to an Alabama school.

I saw an AU poster on another board say that he was not going to SSHS now. FWIW

Depends on who you talk to, some are saying he has the staff's full attention at CB.

But USC is hard to turn down, some south/southeast recruits are especially drawn to it.

Ramsey is a Trojan. I doubt he makes it past USCs RSC w/o committing.

I like how he says that he's recruiting those guys to auburn and then immediately adds that he is visiting USC.

If you watch the interview from yesterday, he said he is taking all visits because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and be doesn't want to miss out. Free visits are free visits.

They have money to blow, unlike some of these kids. Official visits help some get out and visit new places.

JHD has been wrong on some, right on some, he is way wrong on RF situation, but most guys are since there is a whole lot happening in his camp

And FTR I've never seen DM wrong in like a few yrs other than 1 Nkemdickey and whole Bama staff etc insiders, BOL writers all felt confident but DM called flips last yr, called Jenkins to UGA and got bashed so bad on BOL 2 threads were deleted, called LC to Bama, man has a serious connection inside Bama just letting you know big difference

I bet Hawaii gets hammered with request to visit for an OV. If a recruit was smart he would start showing interest in them as a freshman so he could lock in an OV.

I think USC and Hawaii have similar rules about flying recruits in from that far. If they aren't seriously considering USC and they find out, they won't fly them out.

I wonder Mag if it is like an extra scholly with U$Ce, Kiffin has to beg a booster, I once read an article saying they have a much smallrer allotment since it is a private school and nothing state funds is allowed to go to athletics or MAJOR athletics I should say, so to get an extra scholly he has to ask for more money or something and prove they are good students etc was a weird article I'll try to find it, but I wonder if that's what he also has to so for recruit trips etc b/c they never seem to have a BIG recruit weekend or anything
