This is the same guy that predicted Pappoe to UGA

Well, if he's right this time, kudos...y'all really are gettin errrrbody.
Americus is oracle like, I understand he's not perfect, but when he gives us easter eggs, they 9/10 mean great things.
With that said, Neal has never come up much in the process. It would be a weird get like Riley Ridley.
Haselwood seems like an OU wr. They just know how to get their receivers volume passes.

I'm die hard UGA, but if Neal signs he's getting bad advice. Yes, he's a prototype NFL left tackle and UGA doesn't have exactly that on the roster, but this is college and he'll come in as the 7th or 8th best o-lineman on the unit.
He'll likely start at Bama next year.
I'm looking at 4/5 on that list.

And switched it the day before Pappoe announced. He has not missed in the last two years outside of Tommy Bush because he didn’t think we could fit him in our class last year.
That’s pretty freaking plugged in, especially with HS kids changing their mind as often as they do.

How is that bad advice? Learn under the best/one of the best LTs in the country with arguably the best OL coach in the nation. Start two years at LT.
That’s pretty dang appealing.

I'm not saying there isn't a benefit from 1. coaching and 2. being part of an elite unit.
I'm only saying 3 seasons starting for Bama put him in the league in 3 years. He'll be making a 4 year commitment at UGA.
. . . unless he wins more playing time.
We'll see, but I'll be surprised.

Unless Neal and Co. are flat out lying to our staff/others, hes going to Alabama.
Watts doesn't make calls unless he's 100% sure. If he misses it's because kids told his people/our staff one thing and did another. And that has happened 1 or 2 times in 4 years.

If you combine 5 star talent and Pittman, you are getting 3 year linemen. Isaiah Wilson redshirted last season. Started 13 games this season. And is a very strong candidate to go pro next season. How is that not attractive?
As has been said, both tackle spots will be up for grabs in '20.
That said... it doesn't sound like Neal is coming to UGA. Watts has spoken.

I have to agree. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Tim Watts. He is normally very accurate. I don’t see Beal at UGA unfortunately, but I think we will still be ok.

Clay Webb currently.

The only one that would really surprise me is Neal.
ETA - And, honestly, Haselwood would probably be better off somewhere else, but he'll do fine at GA if that's what he chooses.

I haven’t been worried about our offensive line in 10 years. You can have him. Find him a spot right next to those L’s you get from Alabama

Starting to look like a good prediction.

This can’t be true. I was told there would be blowback from fields transferring.

Yes, and as has been said....as far as we can remember that is the only one he has missed on. he did come out the night before Pappoe committed and admit he was wrong and said Pappoe would go to Auburn.
While Americus is not an insider...can you name an insider who has never missed on a recruit?

Nobody has said that Americus is 100% right. Just that we feel better if Americus says we are getting somebody.
I still have doubts about a couple he says we are getting, but I feel better about them.

Hearing noises about Oklahoma today for Haselwood. It would be hard to blame him if thta's his choice.

By the definition of the term, Americus is an insider. He's getting information out of Athens that most are not privy to. That makes him one.
I've heard UGA missed on Pappoe because they changed the position they were recrutiing him for when he didn't develop physically much from sophomore to junior year. Auburn still wanted him at LBer.
