This is absolutely true. Fans are funny and fickle people. And this is not unique to OSU. Georgia, LSU, Alabama...we are all guilty.
It carries over after they are at a school and when they leave for the NFL, too. They can do no wrong and the fans will make excuses for them.

We’re getting Bolden and OSU is getting Houston
This. Raiola also looked at Jefferson HS (home of Sammy Brown and Malaki Starks before him) and Parkview (home of Mike Matthews) but didn’t end up at the former due to the type of offense they run and the latter because the coach already has a proven guy he’d have to split reps with. Buford is just the right mix of high caliber program and proximity to Athens (Bolden and Houston playing there is just coincidence; Buford always has tons of D1 talent)

Kirby wants a better in at Buford.

This will be his 3rd school in 4 years, yes (4th he has enrolled at but he never actually played at Pinnacle).
- Left AZ during 2020 to play in Texas because of COVID.
His team definitely has eyes on the NFL. He moved specifically to Burleson, TX to play under Jon Kitna. Kitna himself has had a job and a new town every few years so maybe he rubbed off on the kid.
I don't know the deep backstory, but Kitna was coaching at Brophy Prep in Phoenix just before taking the Burleson job so maybe they had crossed paths in Arizona.

Raiola’s dad and Kitna were teammates in Detroit.

When he decommitted, it was "out of nowhere" and he/his dad wanted influence on who would be OC after Kevin Wilson left OSU and when OSU said no he left.
Everything I’ve seen said he decommitted from OSU because they took a commitment from a second QB in his class after promising him they would not do so. Had not seen this.

If true, frick the kid and the dad. That's beyond unreasonable.

Kid transferred to Buford HS
It was just a matter of time

Damn Georgia, what’s going on?
WIltfong just flipped his CB for Raiola to Nebraska
Who knows? He has an uncle on staff at Nebraska and his dad played at Nebraska, so I can see it. There is definitely smoke there, though and it is very possible he flips if he has not flipped yet.
Wait and see. I hope we keep him, but if not we still have Puglisi that we like a lot, and have another prospect waiting his turn in Gunner Stockton. Would hate to lose him but we will survive if we do.

Well, that was fast.

Literally the exact thing that happened with OSU happened with UGA. One day he is happy, the next a report comes out that "something has changed between Dylan and OSU/UGA" then he leaves.
You don't leave OSU/UGA for Nebraska out of the blue right?
