According to an Auburn source, Lane Kiffin interviewed via Zoom with Auburn last week regarding its head coaching vacancy. The are some reports out there that he has interviewed twice, but I cannot confirm that, but I have no reason to doubt those reports. As Neal, and I think Chuck, have already reported today, the interview "could not have gone any better," according to an Auburn source. A trusted Ole Miss source believes Kiffin will leave for Auburn, some Ole Miss sources still think otherwise. I do not know particulars of what Auburn is offering or even what Ole Miss has, but the general feel is that a coaching search is close to getting underway at Ole Miss and ending at Auburn. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that is what I've been able to gather today.
The point is coaching searches don't need jets, Zoom is doing all the work now. I wonder if that ever happened in the past?

The hiring university travels to where their candidate is. Can confirm there was an Auburn plane in Fayetteville last Saturday night. Among other things, there were half a dozen Denali's with Yellawood bumper stickers at the Bottom's Up Club about 2 hours after the game was over.

No dumbass, I posted the list from the first two days of interviews and you dumbass said it was impossible to conduct 6 interviews a day, my response was through Zoom. You DAs tried to say nobody interviews through Zoom for a HC job.

If you actually knew anything about "big time" coaching searches, you'd realize that programs never interview anything close to the number of candidates that you mentioned.
You wanted some clout, made a list of ALL of the possible names that you believed would be interested yet you still missed.
It's impressive that you're committed to the lie two years later.

I have zero "contacts" or insiders other than a family friend who married an old OM OLineman and is friends with Matt Luke.
