You answered your question. He earned a reputation of being Arik Gilbert-like in the period before he ended up at TCU. Seems like he's settled down a bit there. I'd say he's similar to Corral who had a reputation in HS as having a temper but settled down at Ole Miss and thrived under Kiffin.

I know the dude got a rep in high school for being a head case, but he’s literally done nothing wrong in college. I wouldn’t worry if I was an ole miss fan

Correction: It was Oaks Christian not Thousand Oaks.
Point being, he punched Gretzky's son and got kicked out of some fancy California prep school.

Great pickup if he goes there. I wouldn't believe it until he is enrolled in classes and spring practice starts with him in uniform.

From what Corral said, he didn't start it and really didn't even engage him. The Gretzky's just had so much money they forced Corral to transfer.

Probably. But it still gave Corral a reputation as a hot head, whether it was deserved or not. The Egg Bowl brawl in 2018 (or 19) didn't help that perception. But he did turn things around after that very admirably.
