Probably lost your money but I like the flyer bet. When I think of Heisman snubs, the story of RB Troy Davis (Iowa St) stands out. Back to back 2000 yard rushing seasons and wasn't rewarded. The team record and school didn't give clout. Travesty, but that's the way that lame arse trophy works. GL

We were 3rd in the SEC in Rushing YPG last year and 1st in 2020. 2nd in attempts both years.

What the frick are you talking about?

That’s just not a very informed statement. Kiffin runs the ball a damn lot. 3rd and 8, 10, 12 doesn’t matter. The reason Ole Miss has led the nation the past two seasons in total offense is because it has been very balanced, almost cut right down the middle

Agree. For some reason most see it only subtly at best, but Lane actually is very willing to run.

Matt Corral had the most rushing attempts on your team last year. If you think an offense that has the QB running more than any running back on the team isn’t easily described as “too pass happy for a running back to be featured enough to win a fricking HEISMAN” you’re retarded. Absolutely retarded.

Because we rushed by committee last year. We had 365 rushing attempts among 3 RB’s with all getting nearly the same amount of carries. Evans getting 20 touches a game on the ground and through the air is gonna put up insane numbers. He’s got home run capability every time he touches the ball. That has never been disputed.

Just forfeit, dude.

"Too pass happy" is not the correct term.

You could have said Kiffin spreads the ball around his RBs too much for any single RB to win the Heisman, but no you went with "too pass happy" and continue to stand on that hill as it erodes beneath your feet.

It's still too pass happy for a RB to win a Heisman. Yeah. Kiffin runs the ball when there are 5 and 6 men in the box, but that's not going to get a RB the Heisman. To win the Heisman you need to run the ball even when the numbers don't overwhelmingly favor you, and Kiffin's offense is too pass happy to do that. Lolz.

To be fair, Derrick Henry won the Heisman in Kiffin’s offense.

Our "too pass happy" offense was sixth in the conference in passing attempts and tied with the Pigs for the most carries in 2021. It was pretty much the same thing last year (2nd in carries, 7th in passing attempts).

Bama threw more passes in 2015 than the Rebs did in 2021.

Kiffin’s ran the ball over 60% of the time both years at Ole Miss.

Zach Evans is not a locker room cancer nor has he ever been in college. He was a model citizen at TCU and has been at Ole Miss so far as well.
