Tennessee is a top 10 program. The other two are not. Pretty easy decision to make.

Since I have been to neither cities or even their respective states, what about living in either of these places. Is one more desirable than the other?

Arky's problem isn't recruiting base. Our problem has been our historically bad coaches. We've never had a coach that could recruit. Petrino took a 5-8 team to 11-2 in three years. If Arkansas could get a big coach to come in, Arkansas would have no issue taking recruits from Texas. Lately, Arkansas has been producing nice offensive talent in-state. Especially at QB. Our last 2 were in-state products and our QB in the wings is from Fayetteville high. Recruiting talent isn't the issue. Getting a coach that's good at it is.

UT historically is a big time program, but I think you have as good of a shot at a title at Auburn as you do UT right now. Either way you are going to have to go through an SECw big boy team to get a shot at the title game.

Yep. One is number 12.

And one is second in the SEC in wins over the past 3 decades and top 10 in the nation in wins over the last 30 years and the others are not. Hint, it is the same one that has won 2 SEC titles and 1.5 NCs the past decade while the other two are both at 0 and 0.

Anyway, it probably comes down to personal preference between AU/UT and Arky now has upgraded facilities and will open the checkbook as well.

Probably a matter of preference. I had a better time in Knoxville than in Auburn, little more to do....... never been to Arkansas.

The NC UT team had more players from the Carolinas than Georgia. The Carolinas was UT's hotbed when Fulmer was here.

I wouldnt put UT #1. It has really become difficult to recruit there. Mark Schlabaugh has said it several times that the job that Fulmer did there is so underrated. Dooley is not that bad, its just a tough place to succeed at now.
Right now Id say Auburn. Chizik is a god dammed loser. Always has been. We can see it clear now. He couldve built upon that 2010 team if he wouldve manned the ship properly, but instead he has sunk that bitch to James cameron and Randy newman levels. I think a good coach can win there despite being next door to Bama and LSU.

Neither Fulmer nor Kiffin had any issue at all recruiting.

If it was so difficult to recruit at Tennessee, a coach with a total of 3 SEC wins in 3 years and on the hotseat wouldn't bring in top 20 classes. Kiffin's class before he bolted was heading towards a top 5 class. UT starts winning like they should, it'll be top 5 in recruiting year in and year out.

Im saying that Fulmer deserves some credit for doing what he did. Kiffin had a pretty good recruting class for one year. Im not going to say it is a pattern. Point is, TN is not a hotbed for talent. You can get some good players from the carolinas and every blue moon you get a stud from Ohio. Not the same pool that Auburn has access to.

it's not a cakewalk like Texas, USC, or UF/FSU but a good coach could recruit at Tenn no problem

Tennessee has signed 43 out of state 4 and 5*s since Fulmer was fired. That is over 10 a year during the worst 4 year period in program history.

Doesn't seem that difficult to me.

Auburn has to go head to head with Bama for instate players. When UT is on top, UT usually gets the best instate players. Saban usually goes after around 3 Tennessee players every year. This year it is Jalen Ramsey, Vonn Bell, and Walker Jones. He is already after next years Tennessee players Jalen Hurd, Josh Malone, and Todd Kelly.

Sorry. 2 NCs. and 3 in the past 3 decades.

I could say 4 and count 1993, but I'm not sure we were the best team in the country in 1993 even though we were the only undefeated one.
