Maybe we should just let Saban decide which teams participate in the playoffs. I feel he is much more qualified to make that decision than ill-informed "committee" members.

The whole season matters. Too much emphasis is placed on one game. Today was not the sum of the season. All 12 or 13 games matter. That a game is last is almost irrelevant. Why should UGA be penalized because they had to play number 1 as the last opponent. UGA doesn't make it because the lost 2 games, one a 20 pt loss, not because they lost to #1 today.
