I thought about that one, but at least UF won 11+ games that year. The UTK and Auburn losses were to two teams that were dogshit.

Best: Bama 2011
Worst: Bama 2011
Playing a divisional team twice
ETA:
Those are the best/worst in terms of the what they meant for our program. In terms of performance:
Best Performance: Tie between UF 2011, Aub 2011, Ark 2011, UGA 2011, Oregon 2011 (all dominating really good teams)
Worst Performance: Ole Miss 2013
Worst: Bama 2011

That was worse than JJ in the '11 BCSNCG? LSU didn't get past the 50 until the 4th QTR. They lost to OM by a field goal.

Worst performance by an individual for sure. But he was playing against the best defense ever... Plus the defense didn't play poorly.
That Ole Miss game was just all around terrible. The defense just wasn't even trying, and Mettenberger played like shite. We lose that game 2/10 times, and had it not been for OM trying to lose in the second half, they would have beaten us by 14+

Alabama's best game is hard to pick from, since of course there have been so many great performances and wins, in terms of best all around performance
09 SEC title game vs. Florida (considering the opponent and the stakes).
Honorable mention for the 2010 Capital One Bowl vs. Michigan State, MSU was co-champs of the big 10 and Alabama made them look like a mediocre high school team. The 2011 opening game against Michigan was also in the same vein.
Worst overall performance was 2010 @ South Carolina. In most of the Alabama loses over the past few years you can see how Alabama was arguably the better team that "beat themselves", but that day South Carolina was by far the best team and beat Alabama handidly no if's and's or buts.

Best, either the 2011 or 2012 BCSNCG. Both were absolute beatings.
Worst, last year's Iron Bowl. So many frick ups, so much lost.

Best: LSU 2010. Great win against a great team.
Worst: Arky 2012. Embarrassing loss to a terrible team.
ETA: Going strictly on overall team performance.

Refreshingly honest. My wife's folks are Bama fans, and they were making every excuse in the book for why USC won that game. My wife (Bama fan) and I went to it, and she just said, "I was there. We got our asses beat."
I never rubbed it in, or anything, but I was surprised at how many people tried to explain away that loss/win.

Worst: 2010 Jacksonville State
Best: 2009 LSU - Les Miles' ball spike with 1 second
That is incorrect. It was Jefferson's ball spike.
Miles stated ad nauseum after that game that he was signalling to the ref that 'the ball was down' (an OM player picked up the ball after the long Hail Mary reception like he had recovered a fumble, and Les was teling the ref the ball was down.)
As this was taking place, the side judge was running down to the five yard line to make the 'winding' motion with his arm to start the clock (neither team had a TO left).
Miles and the other coaches were screaming for Jefferson to snap the ball (because JJ kept looking at the sideline for some ungodly reason).
JJ's only options were to snap the ball and do SOMETHING with it....ANYTHING - Like, maybe...throw a pass into the end zone? try to run it in to the end zone?
But he did NEITHER. He just stood there with the ref getting ready to wind his arm to start the clock, (which he finally did). And the clock ran out with JJ just standing there after spiking it.
There was nothing Miles could have done from the sideline. The Hail Mary was caught at about the OM 4 yard line. Miles, even had he had his
FG team ready in case the Hail Mary was short, could not have gotten them on the field in the time it took for the side judge to run down and start the clock.
It was all on JJ.
