Mississippi State and Auburn always seem to deliver good games.

The Highway 82 Rivalry is underrated. Bama definitely owns MSU, but MSU has played some Bama teams very well over the years.
That 1992 national championship was seemingly derailed in Starkville until Jay Barker pulled that game out late.
I grew up in Alabama, and went to State from 1996-2000. We were 7-1 against Alabama and Auburn while I was a student. I used to have a couple of Alabama State Champion shirts before I got fat.

Possibly the most Mississippi State post ever

Glad you liked it. When I was in college, I was a douchebag fan. Wife/kids/house/career later - its not important at all.

TSIO is still my favorite.

AU/LSU
IB is it's own animal for me and always the most important, but I really enjoy AU/LSU.
BTW, not the topic of this thread, but AU/UF was always my favorite until it ended. Whenever we do play UF it is second only to the IB for me for that season. I don't dislike UF either. Just love the rivalry.

I'm surprised AL/ULSU isn't the overwhelming choice. The games we've played have been absolutely incredible.
Way too stressful to be my favorite.
That game makes me think about what the First Battle of Bull Run must have been like. All the people from D.C. riding their carriages out to the countryside to take in a picnic and a fun little battle. They didn't know what they were in for. That's not entertainment, that's war.

Best rivalry is obviously the Iron Bowl.
However, after seeing just how important the egg bowl is to their fans (MSU, more so), I've began to take an interest in that as well.
Alabama-LSU is always must-see TV, and the OM-LSU games outside of 2011 have always been great.
Early season, the AU-MSU game has been a classic. Honestly, that's the best game of the early SEC calendar.
There are just so many great games, and it's why I love SEC west football.
