Dude Jake Fromm did the exact same thing to you guys in the SECCG.
Fromm: 25/39 301 yds 3 TD 0 INT
Lawrence: 20/32 347 3 TD 0 INT
The idea that Trevor Lawrence is some kind of superhero is important to your narrative that nobody else can do what Clemson did. But that narrative is wrong. Your defense is slipping. Teams have figured it out. Other teams will imitate what Georgia and Clemson have been doing to you. They are studying the tape, you can believe that.

And that version of Jake Fromm is why people still think he could be a Top 10 pick too. He was perfect, made every throw for 3 quarters.
Our defensive backs were lost a lot, but Fromm and Lawrence played excellent football games against us. It wasn't an either or thing.
Fromm's problem is he looks like he did against us 1 game and then looks like he did against LSU/Texas other games.

Didn't we cover this the other day? We've been torched in the passing game 1-2 times almost every year for a decade. This isn't new.

No, the narrative is on your end. You want this to be a watershed moment because that indicates things are changing. It's not. The list above clearly shows that.
There was tape out there of us getting thrown on almost every off-season. LSU had a decade of it. So did everyone else. This isn't a revelation or some sort of sea change. The biggest difference was we went 0-5 in the red zone, and so instead of being 44-35 like some of those games above it was 44-16.

Maybe in the post season. Not during the regular season. Only 2 teams scored more than 21 on Bama in regular season. A couple of teams scored 0.

I agree that Lawrence isn't as great as people make him out to be.
But I think you're pretty stupid when it comes to thinking there is now some magic blueprint to beating Alabama.
Besides, LSU might want to worry about figuring out how to score a fricking TD or even a FG the majority of years.
