You really have to appreciate what Kiffin did for Ole Miss.

Their relevancy is unquestionable at this point.

The question now is, can he bring LSU back to relevance on the field?

I did not have it on my bingo card that LSU - Ole Miss would be the new LSU - Bama, but here we are.

Kiffins name officially carries as much weight as any coach in the country.

The 20 threads here about both daily say they already are.

Well they are back in name now, but on the field?

Now that part remains to be seen. I think his Ole Miss success is somewhat overrated as they usually played baby shite soft schedules there.

Nope, could easily be another BK situation. I do think the positives with Lane are that he obviously understands the portal/NIL and will usually have a good offense.

His offenses are undeniable.

Im interested in how he was able to have a good defense with Golding.

I mean it is an LSU site and about the SEC and the Lane stuff is no doubt one of the biggest stories in CFB and it is the offseason...once the season starts it will go away but I mean..what else is there to talking about that is more fun?

Nothing says relevant like sitting down for an interview with Vanity Fair. Next up for Kiffin is his feature interview in Teen Vogue.

Shoot, better than good, that 2024 defense was great.

LSU-Ole Miss is week 3. It's only gonna get worse each week before that. Then, no matter which team wins, the board will be unreadable. Either it will be LSU fans gloating about a national championship or the rest of the board saying LSU fricked up and both options fricking suck donkey dick.

I think the drunk Pete guy was doing all the heavy lifting in the background and Lane was chasing coeds and doing interviews.

There will be actual violence at this game, there's no way it doesn't happen. They'll probably try to move it to Arizona or something.

3 out of the last 4 Ole Miss coaches took them to the AP top 5 and put a lot of talent in the NFL. Kiffin didnt make Ole Miss relevant. they have been a “relevant program” since about 2009. What Kiffin did well was actually replicate success year over year but they have been a media producing program for almost 20 years now

LSU AD is either a genius or an idiot. Ausberry has been around forever and bleeds P&G.

I think Lane Kiffin brings a championship but idk if fans will wait more than a year or two.
