You have to trade your starting quarterback for someone else in the SEC...

Who are you going with?

Well we are kind of screwed because this year's offense is predicated around what KJ brings to the table. Not sure who else in the SEC fills in the blanks with what he does.
Not, mind you, saying there aren't better QBs in the SEC. That may, or may not, be true. Just that at this point in the process substituting someone else is likely to be a disaster for a couple of games.

KJ or Jaxon Dart would be my pick.
People will hate on Dart but he's going to be a problem this season.

Not a QB in the SEC I would take over Joe Milton right now. 3 years in system with a perfect WR and RB stable to run this O? Nope. The only offensive concern for this team today is the lack of Oline experience working together.

That's not how this works.

KJ, with the O-Line that A&M seems to have coming back, could pocket an SEC West championship. Or go 5-7 if Jimbo takes over the play calling after the first game.

Their offensive line wasn't that great last year.

Hard to say what a QB would project to do, based on their skill set for a particular offense.
But if I HAD to trade for a different QB, I’d pick Will Rogers from MSU

Injuries forced some guys into action, and they weren’t that great. I agree
That being said, run blocking was decent. Pass blocking was the weakness.
But there is so much more depth and experience now heading to this season.

Dart for Harold Perkins, Jr (would be a huge boost to our defense) and just bump Spencer Sanders up to our starting QB.

KJ is a playmaker for sure. He’s capable of improvising to pick up 3rd downs.

I’m going with “anyone”

Tough choice between Jefferson, Rogers, and Daniels.
Each have different tools, but all have proven talent and tremendous experience/leadership traits.
I would likely take Jefferson.

KJ Jefferson.
The idea of putting throwing talent into Chris Relf's body makes me giddy.

Just like Skenes wouldn't have been in the starting rotation for the Vols.
