Auburn has decided to play quarterback Cam Newton against Georgia today, and reached that decision after talks with the NCAA. A preliminary series of interviews concluded Newton did not know his father talked with an ex-Mississippi State player about money for his son to play at that school.
That's why Newton is expected to play.

You sir are undoubtedly a fricking moron!!
Cam has repeatedly said that his father would make the final decision as to where he would play. That in and of itself makes his father his representative.
I hope I didn't confuse you with facts

And how does that mean he knew he was asking for money?

It doesn't matter if he knows. It's a rule violation if your representative asks for money on your behalf, whether you know it or not. Cecil Newton was his representative and has admitted to asking for money.

The NCAA is not going to give Auburn any direction on Newton's eligibility until thier investigation is complete. Whoever told you this either made it up or was given erroneous information.

See above.
This is just my opinion but at minimum Auburn will vacate every game Newton played in. The shame and embarassment Auburn is bringing on the conference by continuing to play him will be the worst part.

CFB, my man.

Were these "talks with the NCAA" the ones where they told the Aubs to play Cam as they deemed appropriate? You know that's like telling a three-year-old he'll get sick if he eats too much candy. The kid's gonna do what he wants to, whether it's good for him or not.
And what the hell is a "preliminary series of interviews"? Is that like practice? Prepping the Newtons for what you Aubs want them to say to the NCAA?
CFB...funny guy.

Yeah I am sure that the NCAA gave Auburn a letter about a potentially ineligible player. They have decided to say fuk it and win it all on the field. No way in hell that Auburn gets to keep any accomplishments from this season.

So let's assume you are a mass murderer and you're trying to decide whether you are going to kill again. You probably do it again because you're already at the max penalty.
