And it goes further than the good ol' boy network, which includes Chavis as DC.

It will include Tee not only as OC, but the title of HC-in-waiting.

Les Miles is coaching 3-5 years tops.

Cool.....love me some Les Miles. Would be awesome for him to be back in the SEC for a few more years.

Would be a great move by UT. Don’t know whether it will happen or not but at this stage for the Vol Nation, you could do much worse than this and probably not much better.

Bringing The Hat back to the SEC is a good thing.

If true, an absolute assanine plan. Les was never a coach, handed a top flight program that he completely decimated in his time here at LSU. Won numerous games strictly on luck and luck alone. His record could have been 30% more loss and 30 less wins. Wouldn't be very pretty. Anyone hiring les a is an idiot

Les is way more qualified than anybody else they have asked. He should have been their first call. It took a former wrestler/ mayoral candidate to make UT even aware that Les is interested. If Les has been interested all along, why the hell all of the drama? This has been the poorest ran coaching search in history.

Les is a face. Tee will essentially be the coach.

He's being considered under the notion that he will leave the offense alone.

With our luck, he will and will go on to win the east.

The obsession with Tee Martin is right up there with the strange obsession with Gruden. It is bizarre.

You sir are an idiot. Les won more championships at LSU than any coach in lsu history. Idiots like you are the reason we have the Cookie Monster as a coach that LOST to fricking Troy.

Tee is considered the future to UT alum. He also has a spread offense. Miles was quoted as saying he is open to experimenting with the spread offense scheme.

Chavis is a no-brainer. He only left when Fulmer was done. Good ol' boys all together again.

Not saying les is great, but with the east all he really has to do is compete with Georgia and the years he beats them he can still do his usual and lose to Bama and make it to the sec title.
Non caring Steve spurier made south Carolina a contender in the east so I could definitely see les having success at Tennessee because he will recruit and try really hard.
