Feelings of inadequacy. These types of fans are failures at life, so Alabama football is something they can attach their self worth to. When Alabama wins, they don't feel like losers.

And deep down, they know that half of the national championships Saban has won at Alabama have a huge asterisk attached to them.

29-0 happened in 2018, and 55-17 happened this year - both in tiger stadium. That's an average of 42-8 for Bama's last two visits to Baton Rouge. Oh, and Bama has won 9 of the last 10 overall against lllllsu.

The idea of declaring yourselves best team ever when half the teams you played barely met the NCAA minimum for scholarship players is laughable.

That's just a flat out lie. The only teams we played that had any substantial players out were LSU and Ohio State.

Everyone else was pretty much full strength to my memory.

Trying to decide which team is better is a useless exercise. No one is gonna change their opinion.

On top of that, it doesn’t even matter. LSU had a phenomenal season in 2019. Probably their best ever. Alabama did the same in 2020. The definitive comparisons between these two teams are ridiculous as they were very similar in terms of stats and results. Elite offenses, Heisman’s, NC’s, etc.

No amount of arguing between fanbases is going to change what either team was able to accomplish on the field and at this point, it would be much more interesting to discuss the 2021 versions of Bama and LSU than to continue a meaningless debate about the GOAT.

And only Ohio state had players out for COVID. LSU players just quit.

Same team basically. Y’all LOST Jeudy, Tua, Ruggs, Mckinny, and Diggs. Tua is better than Mac. Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith, and Waddle (best wr group ever) and lost some key defensive players.

Yet another thread by a LSU fan jealous of Bama.

So by your own admission, Alabama didn’t play teams at full strength.

Didn't Joe Burrow break half your team so bad that they were too scared to follow him to the NFL?

This from the fan base that was posting nonstop claiming Trask to be the undisputed Heisman candidate for weeks until he got his arse handed to him twice.

Not all teams. But most teams did have covid issues except y’all. No denying that

same as injuries, you deal with it. its about preparation, which is part of being a good team. now if you get something like what happened to Florida for the bowl game, all your starters gone with 3 days to prep, thats a disaster. course, they were full strength when we played them

So you think last years Bana was better than this years Bana? Tell us why, ok? Really interested what drives you to that conclusion.

Because it’s the same team without a Top 5 pick at QB and with 2 first round WRs instead of 4

LSU didn’t even beat the 2019 Alabama team by a touchdown

Because 2019 bama was better than 2020 bama.

2020 bama had the luxury of playing roster-poor teams.

Yet another person who sees Bama's 2020 season as a threat to their little insecure self.

I am talking about how much better Bama is than lsu, regardless of the timeframe involved. Historically, present day, doesn't matter - Bama is better.
