No just pick best teams

If they would start doing that, I vote no.

The problem is at the #4 slot. We never get the 4th best team or like tonight, not even the 3rd best team.

Yes. It’s the only way OM gets in. Just like this year.

But only because I feel like the SEC gets fricked by playing in the conference they do and we’d easily have more than two in.

We already have that most years.

This shite was created to keep two sec teams out.

How's that working?

They will have to or lack of interest will continue.

There's no point to the current playoffs. Every year it's the same. Two contenders and two teams we put in so we can claim that there's parity in the sport even though we know full well that there's not parity and won't be until the entire college system is rethought (which may wind up being sooner rather than later with all the changes NIL, the portal, and everything else are bringing).

If the games would be compelling tv, I’d agree with you. I see expanded as money grab by ESPN and others. I think Some of the old BCS metrics should be used instead of committee. I see committee as puppet of ESPN.

Yes, 4 is to small. If FCS can do it, FBS can too. Honestly it is the only way to preserve the integrity of bowl season.

No. There is already at least one, and this year two blowouts. No need for more.

To put it another way, the BCS would have put the wrong teams in the final 5 of the last 8 years. Expansion is the only thing that solved that.

The idea that going from 4 to 8 is some kind of game breaking decision is ludicrous.

Yes expand.
Div 1 is the only sports venue who does not include everybody. Wont happen with all these entitled quitters on teams now.

I say yes. Allows more chances to travel to stadiums you never get to in the first round. Also will allow us to get rid of conference championship games which are beyond stupid.

Some team would have given Bama a better game and at least score a TD.

This would never fly but I think they should make sure each team hits a certain amount of variables in addition to winning. SOS, Recruiting/talent rank, etc. it also would help if we got rid of preseason rankings, unless basing it off of talent on hand etc. there’s no reason for them to throw 3 teams from every major conf to make a top 25.

If the BCS worked then we wouldn't need a playoff. The playoff should have been done decades ago.
