Jim Chaney couldn't design an offensive set for a "generationally talented" mobile QB with arm talent, hows he gonna do it for Hurts?
For a coach that you are glad is gone you guys sure love talking about Chaney.
Lol no shite, this guy cant seem to talk enough about a team he feels is super irrelevant. If you hear them tell the story, over the last 2 years all the shite they've talked has been prefaced with "if that scumbag useless POS chaney doesnt screw this up" (insert some dumbass absurd comment about a team dominating the league even though they havent won a championship since the carter administration.)

He has scored more in Neyland than anyone else playing today.
Yeah. But if he goes there he won't be playing against the Tennessee defense any more?

Why? Two straight Heisman winning DT QBs. And unlike at Bama he'll have a chance to win a title.

If he has no ill feelings towards Alabama and wants to have some legacy there, it would not seem that an SEC rival would be a good destination.

Oklahoma's system will make him look like a better passer than he is and he'll get much much better QB coaching than he has at Bama.
Kyler Murray was a terrible passer at A&M. Much worse than Hurts. Against Auburn I think Murray was about 11/20 for barely 100 yards, 0 TD and 3 INT.

Yahoo couldn't even predict it's own demise as a valuable tech company.

Like what?
I watched a hand full of games and only saw him come in during mop up duty when Tua was pulled.
Now he was money in the 4th against UGA but that's a small sample size.
Florida would play more to his strengths. I just don't see the passing ability to excel at Oklahoma. then again all those defenses suck

Like everything. He's not Drew Brees but his comfort level with making reads, staying in the pocket and just overall confidence level from the end of 2017 to the 2nd half of 2018 was pretty evident to anybody who had watched him a lot.
He was a broken mess the 2nd half of 2017. He was a confident QB when he trotted onto the field against UGA.

Hurts can't throw the ball more than 20 yards.
He had at least three completions that went more than 20 yards in the air against UGA...

True, confidence is key. but I don't see oklahomas system being his strong suit. If he goes there, hope I'm wrong! Always loved his calm cool approach and what he did in the SECCG was fantastic.

Personally I wouldnt think so either, but I think Riley can tweak that offense to make it work.

I'm sure Riley would adapt the offense to Hurts strengths. Jalen's improvement under Enos this year was pretty fantastic. I wouldnt expect 2017 Jalen to be able to play good QB at Oklahoma, but 2018 Jalen could.
Lincoln has studied the tape of both Fields and Hurts. He took a pass on Fields, but not so much on Hurts. Hurts has a lot of talent. He just needs to learn how to use it.

His lost year with DaBoll really hurt him, and I think year 1 with Kiffin hurt him long term as he was thrust into the lineup and we basically tailored a simple offense for him.
This was the first year he was really taught like a true professional QB and I think, from all reports and limited game action, it showed. He'll be a solid player wherever he goes and have a large cheering section in Alabama.

Jalen's biggest weaknesses that I can see. Those things are fixable.

Best of luck to #2 no matter where he goes.

And they were much better in 2018 than 2017.
