Why not Aub, shite, and really apply the screws to Saban and Alabama? They've actually beaten Bama a few times, most teams have no shot!

I'd love to have Hurts as he'd instantly help the OL and JG isn't mobile enough to do that but I doubt he's even considering us.

Oklahoma makes no sense to me!

Dude is tough, good athlete but I don't see the arm or accuracy to fit in that system.

Not sure why Oklahoma is even mentioned with him, might as well say WSU, TTU.

Don’t need to be overly accurate with those receivers

Hurts can't throw the ball more than 20 yards. No way he would fit the Oklahoma offense.

Jim Chaney couldn't design an offensive set for a "generationally talented" mobile QB with arm talent, hows he gonna do it for Hurts?

We actually develop QBs here.

Our coaches would also have to consider whether or not it's worth risking JG. He has two years left of eligibility and graduates this Spring. He can be good with an OL but we may not have one until his senior year. Would be hard to convince him to stay.

I've heard good things about the younger QBs we've got but they're all unproven. It's an interesting scenario for sure.

He has scored more in Neyland than anyone else playing today.

If Mike DeBord (who ran a very pro-style offense at Michigan) can adapt to Dobbs then Chaney can adapt to Hurts. I don't think Hurts comes here though.

I'll let Riley know you said Hurts isn't a good fit for his offense.

Sweet

How often do you speak with him?

About as often as you're opinion of a QBs talent potential turns out to be accurate, it would seem.

We just signed the top QB in the country. We don't need a FB ATM.

I'm sure Riley would adapt the offense to Hurts strengths.

Jalen's improvement under Enos this year was pretty fantastic. I wouldnt expect 2017 Jalen to be able to play good QB at Oklahoma, but 2018 Jalen could.
