I’d guess it’s far more likely that this meeting was allowing Wade to paint himself into a corner. I’d guess Wade had to say that he’s done nothing to violate NCAA rules, nothing is going to come out showing he did and that he will 100% cooperate with any NCAA investigation in a timely fashion.

What's hilarious about your comments is it's me that's saying I think both LSU and the NCAA are investigating what they can, and it's you who are saying they aren't.
I never said that. I said exactly how much could LSU have investigated if they just talked to the HC involved on Friday? Hell, that goes for the NCAA as well.
As I stated and you want to ignore.....the school investigates any improprieties and then turns over their findings to the NCAA. The NCAA then decides if they want to investigate. I will give you an example. Tom Albetar.

"Here is the honest truth........the NCAA has not even looked into this yet. They sat in on a meeting with Smart and a meeting with Wade. They took what was said by each on their word. Nothing more/nothing less."

I know how this process works my man. You really need to stop. I don't even think you know what you're arguing anymore, if you ever did in the first place, because you clearly have no idea what I have argued throughout this entire process or even ITT

The Feds haven't and cannot lawfully provide to the NCAA any evidence that is deemed inadmissible in Court without consent from the interested parties.

Among the most revealing evidence turned over to the NCAA, according to documents obtained by Outside the Lines, is a business plan that aspiring agent Christian Dawkins emailed to his business partners on Sept. 5, 2017.
Then how did this happen? The trial has not started yet so how can the FEDS know what will be admissible? Remember, the FEDS are the ones who turned this over to the NCAA.......not the defense.

His infatuation with LSU and this "investigation" is weird.

That was evidence that was admitted in the trial last October bud. You know this is trial number 2 in April, right?

So this is the second trial for Dawkins?

correct. he was convicted of wire fraud in October and sentenced to 6 months in prison. The upcoming trial is for bribery.

NEW YORK – U.S. District Court Judge Lewis A. Kaplan sentenced former Adidas executive James “Jim” Gatto to nine months in prison and both former Adidas consultant Merl Code and former runner Christian Dawkins to six months in prison Tuesday in Manhattan federal court.
Five months after each defendant was found guilty on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud in the sprawling college basketball investigation, Kaplan delivered the sentences to a packed courtroom that included families of the three men.
The three-week trial ended October 24 with unanimous guilty verdicts. The proceedings were part of a larger FBI investigation into corruption in college basketball.

It is. None of that changes the fact that the NCAA hasn’t taken any real action on any of this information. LSU’s hope is that the NCAA pretends this all didn’t happen.

Damn. That is the first time I have read that article. The payments made and the players involved is unreal. Nothing implicates coaches or schools, but some high profile school's and a good bit of players are mentioned.

So you have all these opinions on what is going on yet had not even the slightest clue about what has happened the last 1.5 years with this investigation? Never change

what? I have read other articles on what is going on, just not that specific article.
The bottom line.....LSU fans think this is over. It is not. It won't just be LSU being investigated either.

you clearly haven't read much if this is your first time hearing about any of this. That information isn't limited to one article.

no one thinks this, but maybe if you repeat it enough times...

There were 10-15 posters on this board saying it was over just yesterday. You underestimate your fanbase’s collective stupidity.

Then why all of the jubilation on LSU clearing Smart and re-instating Wade? Go read the pinned thread on your board.

because it kind of sucked not having a basketball coach at all and the fans like Will Wade.
