As long as Auburn doesn't have to play Houston. That would be complete embarrassment. Records would be shattered.

That would be a terrible game for Bama. They will get no respect for beating the hell out of Houston, but they will get killed if it is within 2 scores.

I really wanted Bama to meet Boise so they would get crushed once and for all and embarrassed on the national stage.

I mean, if Alabama doesn't go to the BCSNC, this game is going to happen.

TCU could qualify if Houston somehow loses a game. The Cougars still have to play Tulsa, who is unbeaten in their half of CUSA, and, if they get by them, USM in the championship game. Unlikely, but you never know. TCU will win the MWC, and will be in the top 16 of the BCS (they are 19 right now), and will finish ahead of the Big East champ. So, it would be Bama vs. Houston or TCU in the Sugar.

WE (usm) have an outside shot at Sugar as well.
1. Beat Houston. will be tough, i admit.
2. Jump TCU in BCS
3. stay ahead of any Big East school.

The matchup with ALA would not be favorable, but a CUSA team in BCS would be cool and we can use the $$$$$.
CUSA champ game will be relelvant for first time ever.

I think Houston could their last two games. SMU and Tulsa aren't bad teams and Houston at one point was down 34 to 0 against freaking UTEP. I don't expect them to make it out alive. Boise to Sugar.

I won't be making that trip. Has Utah 2.0 written all over it.

I don't see that. Bama's D would smother Houston down....Houston doesn't belong in the BCS....They're beating the hell out of weaklings.

If it must be UH going to Sugar then, as a Bama fan, Id say defer the game to Arkansas. Let Bama go to Cotton Bowl.

Arkansas v Houston would at least be a SWC matchup.

I used to hate the Rose Bowl's insistance on taking Pac Ten and Big Ten teams to maintain tradition.

But now I wish the Sugar Bowl had such a set up.

2. Jump TCU in BCS

TCU only has Colorado State (3-6) and UNLV (2-7) left on their schedule, so they will end up 10-2 and will win the MWC. They lost to Baylor and SMU, but beat Boise and BYU. USM has to end up 12-1 with a victory over Houston in the CUSA CG. Their best wins would be Virginia and Houston, with that loss to Marshall. I don't see USM jumping TCU if they both win out.

Doesn't Boise have to win their conference, which they will not if TCU wins one of their last two games against crappy teams?
