Hopefully he can write it off. I support this stuff, but he’s still too green in the league and should be saving some dollars for a rainy day. But cool.

$3M to football, you bet your arse that better include a catered private suite to all games, and non football events hosted at the stadium like concerts.

Would be great if more athletes would do this as well since they received free everything while they were there.

I rather they give back to their high schools. Von Miller always had Desoto in new uniforms, and the best helmet tech there was at the times. Seen some players redo their high school football locker rooms. Very cool.

Grilling college players to give back to college and ignoring it’s a multi billion dollar business is short sighted, bc it’s a kin to a pro player donating to his pro team. But blessing downwards to HS’s is pretty cool stuff the players have been doing for years.

Only 3 sports are filled with full ride only athletes, football and both basketballs. Most athletes weren't getting free everything.

Not me. However, It's not a bad idea if the hs is truly in need imo.

It's an entire different animal next year with house vs ncaa guidelines. There are only roster size limitations, which is now 34 for baseball. Unsure if the sec decided to reduce that roster limit, like they have in some other sports... but it's unlimited scholarships for the entire roster. Basically they're saying frick walk-ons.

That is really asinine of him to do on a rookie contract. Type of move that lands a guy in bankruptcy when his career ends.

It's a pledge, not guaranteed, and he can pay it over time. Hell of an overture. We don't see any of that from Gen Z.

When it comes to school donations, I never seen that from Millennials, Gen X, Boomers either. He’s trying to be a booster on his rookie contract.

How are they receiving free everything when they are only there due to their work and their effort in practice and on the field?

If they suck they get processed.
