Dude has interviewed with South Carolina, LSU, Oregon, and Texas and not received a single offer.

Dont know how accurate the story but another thread said he showed up at LSU in MSU gear and wanted full control of staff... see ya!

Insider on lsu paysite said Arnett couldn't pass the chalk board test when presented with problems relating to how to adjust to offensive sets. Said he was a disaster from an X and O standpoint.

He has a good gig, with a good salary, and isn’t going to take another one unless he gets what he wants. Dude had one of the best defenses in the SEC this year and was having to start walk-ons. When you’re that good you make demands.

He has that at Mississippi State. Leach let’s him do his thing. He doesn’t want a HC overriding his calls

I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a coach openly interview this much either. It’s pretty clear he’s looking to get out of Starkville as soon as possible.

Zach wasn't going to SC, and LSU was dumb not to hire him.
