Well, LSU’s football worth is top 10 and number 1 in baseball. No reason we won’t skyrocket when Will goat wade continues tincline

Damn. That really shines a bright light on how complacent LSU became with basketball. Hopefully WW gets it going.

Hell, Alabama has become an icon of college football. I'd bet that the school receives more commercial revenue from outside the state than from within.
Cigarette and Beer ads are limited and you can only sell so many Weight Watchers ads.

No surprise UK at 1. I understand the metric used, but still think UK is worth more than shown

The only ones I find odd are South Carolina and Ole Miss. I'm guessing recent success is a big deal for South Carolina, although I question how that brings about such a high valuation.

Yea, my bad, I meant M, obviously.
Interestingly enough, "M" would still generally be accepted as thousand due to the roman numeral M=1000, so financials generally use MM to refer to Million (one thousand thousand)... BUT, M is also the metric abbreviation for Mega=Million... suffice it to say, number abbreviations are stupid... /diatribe

So we've sucked for over 20 years and we're still 2nd in the SEC?
I'm surprised LSU is so low, regardless of facilities.

Article from 2 years ago:
"Merchandise revenue will also get a big boost — Alabama has a lucrative deal with Collegiate Licensing Company. It’s netted $98 million in royalties since the company was founded in 1981 by Alabama’s current athletic director, Bill Battle. Alabama was the company’s first client and is its top seller, with licensing fees skyrocketing 250% since 2005. Battle no longer runs the company."
I'd say that's a little more than beer and cigarette ad money, Sky King.

I believe it. Have you seen the shite that most Bama fans wear ? I bet half the fans wardrobe has something related to Bama on it, from t-shirts to hats, jerseys and even dresses and ties. Airbnb, my guess is you are wearing a jersey or something that has the "Mullet A" on it right now. And most of those fans who are wearing it have a cigarette and a beer in their hands. They go well together.

The epitome of "little brother." The absolute definition of "little brother" on every level.
How will the Mizzourites even try to deny it?
And they were brought-in as a basketball school.
Good gosh.

We've always been a little basketball crazy here. Frank McGuire started it in the 60s. Listen, we've got the what, 2nd largest, 3rd largest basketball arena in the league? And it's a palace. It was built ... I dunno, maybe fifteen years ago or so?
We're a borderline basketball school - that's the bottom line. Especially when you throw the women's team into the mix. Listen, we hired Frank Martin and Dawn Staley. Only a couple of peograms in the league could have pulled that off at the time when UT was dominant with Pat Summitt and the men's side sucked donkey balls.
Here's another thing for you to consider. We've led the country the past couple of years in combined (men's and women's) basketball attendance and we're always in the Top 10 up there with combined attendance alongside Kentucky.
Given all of that, I'm not sure why you would be suspicious or surprised or question where the value comes from. We pack our arena and we sell a bunch of basketball stuff.
