I love the fact that LSU fans that are Saints fans show their lack of knowledge when it comes to RBs. Especially ones that played at Alabama. Too stupid to realize what I said in my early post about not having a 1000 rusher since 2006, and that when an offensive line is set up to only pass protect, it's hard for anyone to run behind it.

Pierre Thomas has averaged 4.8 ypc over his seven years with the Saints. He'd easily do 1,000 if he wasn't sharing time with D. Sproles (who also has a high average) and another back like Ingram (who is not like the others). It was similar when Reggie Bush was here, but Bush was great catching the ball out of the backfield so it was worth playing him.

Two years ago we were third in the league inrushing and Ingram still sucked. He is garbage.

Two years ago we were 6th with only 2127. Best rushing team was 2632 Denver.

Indy has worse rushing stats.

Than Cleveland? Dude, Indy is 5th in the league right now, and Cleveland is 29th. STFU.

You dont know what you're talking about. Indy has worse rushing stats and that with a passing game. Cleveland has a better line. Indy doesn't have one player as good as Thomas. Not one.

Browns and Bridgewater. Sounds about right. Another Kentucky QB going to an expansion team.

There are a lot of fricking morons in this thread.

A 1000 yard rookie season is not a bust.

Your hatred for a college team is making some of you look like football illiterates.

Which is something Peyton never does with Ingram. He puts him in for one play, then brings him out. And every time he's in the defense stacks the box, because they know we're going to run it. How do they know? Refer to the first sentence.

Indy has 260 yards in 3 games and one game was mostly Luck. yeah their run game is so awesome they just traded a first rd draft pick for a rb. That's with a passing attack.

You call plays better than Payton?

Ingram flat out fricking sucks, and I was happy we drafted him.

Pierre runs behind the same line, and is 10X the RB Ingram is. shite, they stacked the box when Ivory was in there and he beasted.

Ingram, like Richardson, is a rhythm back. Ingram led the Saints in 20+ yard carries in 2012 (he averaged a 20+ yard run every 38 carries while the rest of your backs needed 50+ carries per 20+ yard run). He isn't the garbage back Saints fans claim him to be. He's not great, but he's serviceable

Rhythm? Rhythm??? Those other guys we're running don't give a $hit about rhythym. When you're getting paid millions, you don't get the luxury of having as many carries as you need for your inner Michael Jackson to come out. I thought it was a good pick at first. But he really hasn't even been serviceable. In situations where we give it to him where we need a yard, he doesn't get it most of the time. That ain't serviceable.

I will agree with you though that Saints fans seem to dislike him more for being on the sidelines at LSU/Bama games when he's not producing.
