Seriously if I was one of their fans I would be stoked. What a cool schedule of new teams to play. I look forward to adding the to the schedule also.

I do think it's pretty cool that LSU and Oklahoma will meet during the regular season for the first time ever.

Not sure it was worth expanding to 16 but cool nonetheless.

Seriously it does feel good you guys are elite and we want to play elite teams. I will say I like Venables plan we are really making our camps important and our preferred walk on program will pay with these tough schedules we are going to need bodies to practice if scholorship players get hurt we get to cherry pick from a bunch of 3 star quality players . You can always find a diamond in the rough.

No no no

1. SEC SEC SEC is overrated
2. SEC gets favorable treatment by the media
3. SEC is overrated
4. The SEC only has 2 good teams

Remember?

OU beat a scholarship depleted bama in ‘01 and ‘02. What happened in CFP several years ago,

It is exciting. If Texas fans tell you otherwise they are lying. The great thing about being in the SEC is each game is so much more attractive and intriguing under the microscope. If you’re undefeated any schedule and season can be fun - try being mediocre (yeah I said it) having a 5-3 record and getting up for Iowa State or Kansas.

I know I’m inviting the jokes here…
But really, if enduring a bad or below expectations kind of a season at least you still have the shot at knocking off big brands in great atmospheres, etc. It is a massive difference.

Can’t wait to see more big games in Austin and hopefully make road trips when possible to hit all the SEC stadiums over time.

We also beat #3 Bama in the Sugar Bowl in the Kick 6 year (2014? Too lazy to look it up.)

OT: Our initiation schedule into the SEC is absolutely brutal and I love it. I'll admit if we go .500 it'll suck but right now it's as exciting a schedule as I can remember. It's like a bowl game every week. Can't wait.

See us last year vs LSU as a classic example.

What I think you guys will both love and hate is the fact that there are no games off and all atmospheres are intense.

Hell even a game against a supposed mediocre opponent can become huge during the game if you’re having a good season and they get up for your game. It sucks and is fun.

The SEC gauntlet is simultaneously the most frustrating and exhilarating football experience through the course of a season.
