Hmmm...lets see...

Hogs start off 1-3 after losing to 2 shitty teams. The wheels could have easily fallen off the bus at that point. A good coach prevents that from happening so, yeah, Bert's a pretty damn good coach.

You Arkansas fans crack me up. You go from wanting Bert fired to thinking he's the best coach in the West in three weeks.

I never wanted him fired. He had several major tasks ahead of hon when he came here:

1)Stop the mass exodus of recruits
2)change the culture to cut down on discipline problems on and off the field
3)transition from a focus on passing under petrino to focus on defense and running

None of those is accomplished overnight. And season ending injuries to your best players pushes the time-frame out even more.

Let's say you had Les Miles as your head coach, would you give him up to have Bielema as your head coach?

I................don't know.

I wanna see what Bert does with a couple more years. Miles is certainly a proven commodity. He may not be good enough for an SEC title any more, but you at least still have the feeling that this team is on the cusp.

Bert's a few seconds away from great success, impressive failure, or diabeetus.

I would do so in a fraction of a NY second.

In fact, sometime back I posted a topic wishing Bielema was at LSU and got ripped for it.
