I don't care about this enough to talk about it. Just the fact that you take time out of your day to post on a board that doesn't concern your school about another school that doesn't even consider you to be a rival is pretty fricking sad

And Ags, before you say its not true, go read your own years books which were conveniently called the "Longhorn" for many many years...

Why does that make it true?

One more thing the flaming cows copied from us.

They were simply called "Varsity" back then

Are all of your degrees from one school?

Mine arent... If you look, I've been around well before you guys even showed up.

I just find it fascinating how much double talk comes out from A&M about things in Texas when large portions of what is consider A&M lore is now being shown to be inaccurate and yet is not a concern for most Ags.

There is a reason I support LSU these tiffs..

"Large portions" = very little

I'm waiting for your claim that the Aggie ring design is a ripoff of the Texas ring even though it predates it by over 100 years.

Like the whole idea that LSU backed out of the series with A&M because they lost five times in a row? Like the idea that LSU still owes A&M money for breaking that contract?

Would have been much better for our conference from a national standpoint. Texas is perceived as the classy high education school and A&M has comparatively little brand. Although Texas would be better for the conference, I'm glad they aren't here because with their resources and SEC brand they would be dominating the conferencein a good amount of major sports within a few short years. SEC+Longhorn is a scary combination for anybody that would have to play them.

Actually, since 2010, they have been seen nationally as a train wreck across almost all aspects, academically and athletically.

Go do a random poll with people from any other state across the country and ask them to name the first school in Texas that comes to their mind. I would be willing to bet that they overwhelmingly say UT. Texas carries arguably the best brand in the country.

Texas would be good for the SEC. The SEC needs an alpha school to take over and to put everyone in their place. Without Texas, who's gonna do it? You A&M? You Mizzou? Texas has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You laugh at the aggie traditions and you curse the Longhorn Network. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That A&M's defense, while tragic, provides comic relief. And the existence of their violently homoerotic corps of cadets, provides comic relief. You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at tailgates, you want A&M focused on the Longhorns, you need A&M focused on the Longhorns. They use words like whoop, red arse and gig'em. They use these words as the backbone of a life raping sheep. The rest of the world uses them as a punchline. I have neither the time, nor the inclination, to explain A&M to fans who rise and sleep under the blanket of success that comes from playing against A&M's defense, and question the manner in which they illegally hire coaches. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you wear a white jumpsuit, and rape a goat. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

Did you just make that up?

However, if UT is in fact the "alpha" of their current pack...that pack is fricked. LSU & Bama continue to pillage that territory yet the "alpha" does nothing about it.

The Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Yankees, and Pittsburgh Penguins are the best brands in their respective sports.

Combined, they have 1 title in the last 6 years.

You don't agree with either of these things do you? Poor, swamp kitten. The delusion is strong with y'all.

You add Texas you probably lose Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Mizzou. We have all dealt with them before and don't want them. Hell, trade us out. We might be able to kill the Big 12 and start a new version of the SWC.

SEC needs Texas, and especially the LHN, to really become elite.
