If/when Dabo replaces Saban, we'll probably be playing an Urban coached team yearly.

This isn't as bad as Petrino.

No baw. This is worse than Petrino in my eyes. Would you just ignore knowing that someone close to you is beating their wife??? I’d beat the shite out my best friend if I found that out about him.....maybe I’m just a redneck

I think it depends on how you look at it- what Petrino did was probably more of a potential financial liability to the institution as far as giving horse face the job over other candidates. But, like you, I think what Urban did (didn’t do) wins the worst human being award between he and BP.

Unfair. What Petrino did is nothing compared to covering up for an abuser.

This is just the faux outrage of the day. A year or two from now we will be saying someone should hire Urban. I've seen too many of these stories come and go. This is just a passing story and if Urban wants to coach again he will be given the opportunity to do so.

He may retire now because elite programs would be scared to hire him . He would be a great fit at Miami.

Yes over Ed O

Basically. O actually beat a woman himself. Urban just hired a guy and kept him after knowing about it. I wouldn't start from scratch with either, but I'd trade O for Urban.

Somebody will hire him.

73-8 the last six seasons.

Of course he will land somewhere.

He won't be back for a while, if ever. The uproar would be outrageous and no league commish is gonna ok his hire for a while. Time changes everything but he is done with CFB til he pays some serious penance. The assistant must know where the bodies are buried and likely buried some himself but Meyer should have talked straight to him and gave him a year off to get counseling while arranging something for him with a big Buckeye. Instead he went straight moron and got away with it for a couple to three years. Then buried himself by denying knowledge of the whole affair. He was obviously afraid of the guy taking him and the program down if he busted him.

A loose cannon. And a ballsy MF. Picked up Meyer's sec and took her home drunk asking the wife's permission. You know Urbie knew that. That ain't something that you can keep quiet since the wives all were talking and the other coaches must have laughed their azzes off. Course Urb had likely tagged the sec too so what the heck was he gonna do....BTW, in the overall scheme cutting a little strange is small potatoes compared to this. So this is a nuke compared to Petrino's bunker buster. Although ole Bobby made a damn ceremony over his cutting, outing, and put a ribbon on it with putting her on the payroll and his skint arse face leaving about 10 pounds of hide and hair on the pavement. LOL! Idiot must have thought he was invisible, hauling her hot arse around on a motor sickle!

Any non Bama fan who says "no" is a self-righteous moron.

If I ran LSU I would have him and Kendall Briles here in a heartbeat. The media could write all the hit pieces they wanted, but the championships would drown all of that out as we make the rest of the SEC say #MeToo from the dominance we would unleash.
