Would you take Urban Meyer as your team's head coach?

Upvote for Yes.
Downvote for No.

Fwiw, I'm down voting myself. I was just shocked to hear a couple people mentioning that they would want him for the future if he sits out this season.

FL would take him back in a heartbeat (no pun intended) after Mullen shits the bed.

If he gets fired for this bullshite it’s a shame. I hope he doesn’t come back to the sec. he’s a great coach.

He’s landed himself in Petrino territory. Excellent coach, but toxic POS.

No doubt he's a winner, but he obviously has no moral compass about anything . Win and only win is all he cares about.

No one wants him now, wait till this blows over.

Nope.

But some fans around the SEC would. I won't name them because I don't want to get banned.

YES I would. Sure would. I mean, that’s someone else and their wife, and the legal system issue.

I feel like this is what will happen. He'll be out for one or two years. People will kind of forget it, or excuse things, and then he'll get a job at a high profile program.

Do you remember what happened last time an SEC team tried to hire an Ohio State coach? (Vols and Greg Schiano) Meyer will never be back in the SEC!

This isn't as bad as Petrino. Petrino lied to his boss that he was involved in that motorcycle accident by himself, Petrino hired his mistress to be his underling passing over qualified candidates like former LSU great Ben Wilkerson, etc. There could've possible Title 9 concerns and sexual harassment concerns with everything that went down at Arkansas.

Urban possibly having knowledge of abuse is different from Urban himself beating up a woman. Urban may have to leave Ohio State but he will be able to get another big-time job if he wants to in a year or so.

Nope, not ever. The dude leaves death and destruction behind wherever he’s been.

No.

I'd choose mediocrity over being a "silent" supporter of trash like that all day long.

Tressel has his own kingdom at Youngstown. If he wanted to be back he would.
