doesn't solve any of the ongoing problems or corruption withing the SEC. The whole point is to start a conferance that is honest, fair, and respectfull of it's members

Where is this butt hurt coming from? There is no Texas equivalent in the SEC.

Those conference schools that have a rivalry with Bama are getting the snot beaten out of them because of the greatest living CFB coach, not because of some supposed REC.

The SEC is wonderfully socialistic and will remain so because of its set-up. No one school can gain enough influence to direct conference matters to its advantage.

Yes, a conference with Texas as a member would surely be fair and not mistreat poor lil' LSU.

Didn't you guys get exactly what you wanted out of the Florida debacle? I don't understand this particular melt.

You mean like the last time UA and LSU played in a bowl (that was in NOLA, no less).

LSU is at the apex of their football greatness but just fired their coach and want to go to the sunbelt to keep from losing to teams they don't like.
It's pathetic. Please, by all means take your ball and go home. If you decide to come out and play, make sure your mommy and daddy are the officials. They will send the big fast kids home and make everything you do count as a score. The trophy they will buy you on your way to get ice cream will forever be a showpiece in your basement palace.

We have most of that already. We could, however, use a more equitable way of doing divisional draws. For the past several years we've had the hardest divisional draw in the conference. Next season we get LSU and BAMA which is par for the course in how these 'draws' work.

kinfolk, we gotta play LSU, Auburn, Arkansas and Bama EVERY year! Nobody from the East should be complaining about a difficult schedule.

If y'all got rid of TSIO, then AU/UGA would be more willing to drop their DSOR that nobody really cares about quite honestly, and we could be playing a more equitable cross divisional schedule.

Or, we could break up into groups that change every 5 years based on the success of the previous 5. I think that would be more fun and equitable for everyone.

I will be honest with the OP. Back in 2000 and 2002 when the NCAA hammered Bama and the rest of the SEC seemed to get off on that hammering, I strongly wanted Bama to leave the SEC. It would have been a bad move though from a competition and money standpoint. I know some of you LSU fans are upset and you silly conspiracy infused LSU fans think the conference is out to get y'all, but leaving the SEC would be insane and I seriously doubt LSU will walk away from this kind of money.

First ....leave MSt and Auburn out of your delusion. They don't want to go any where. Been here a long long time. Second.....0h, we can't beat Bama , so shouldn't we move to a different conference so we can win a conference championship? What happens when LSU leaves and is still #4 or 5 in the new conference? Best thing for you dumb fans to wish for is to go independent. Fortunately , there are enough smart LSU fans and LSU folks that have say in the matter that this will never happen anyways. But fun to laugh at you morons!!!! We all have them but LSUs are , by far , the most delusional and out of touch with reality.

Says the school who bitched and moaned about not having enough home night games until it got what it wanted. You want equal treatment, stop demanding night games. The excuse that night games at tiger stadium are special is horse shite. EVERY NIGHT GAME at every SEC stadium is special. Evening home games are just as special st Alabama, A&M, and Auburn.

In all honesty, it just seems LSU hates not being the center of attention. Y'all think too highly of your selves and take everything too personally. Why is that?
