Just curious as I lurk around SECr from time to time and I've picked up on more than one thread (and from unrelated/outside sources) that is is expected and for the morst part wanted that there be a rivalry going forward with LSU and aTm. I read something this week where one side or the other (can't remember which) wants to replace LSU/Ark on the Friday after Thanksgiving with LSU/aTm.

My question is - why? Is there history there between LSU/aTm that i'm not aware of? Ark is clealry a stronger program presently and historically.

I know LSU and most of the SEC loves to shite all over the Hogs at every oppty, but this doesn't make any sense to me. Geographically? Maybe. Fertile recruiting ground? I get it, but LSU doesnt need to play in College Station to recruit east Texas.

Someone 'susplain it to me.

LSU and TAMU have played a ton over the years and a lot of LSU grads go work in Houston along side A&M grads.

I believe we are 41-24 against Aggie, historically.

id rather arky because they are better and their fans are more normal than A&m fans.

its fun to laugh at a&m delusion but if they were a rival it might get tiring at some point.

Arkansas leads 41–24–3 all time vs. aTm

So WTF are you talking about "no" on historical dominance?

So weird they comprise 1/2 of all things that come from Texas.

I'd rather Arkansas; although it's true that LSU has more history and bad blood w/ TAMU.

LSU's rival in conference will now be the Aggies.

Ya'll tried piggers but yawn, at the end of the day ya'll sucked as we expected

Move the Arky game to October and A&M slides right in on thanksgiving week

Easily a better rivalry than that made up rival crap

LSU-A&M has the potential to be an SEC version of tu/OU.

So I'm guessing LSU is the OU in that scenario where they won like 20 in a row over Texas?
