So without Bama it takes away from LSU beating the Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl, and likely Sugar Bowl champs?

LSU almost definitely would have won another national title after 2007.

Yes. The national champs at their home is indeed better than the wins you listed. I'm not even sure how this is questionable... bless your corndog heart.

The question is if Saban had stayed at L6U how many NCs would they have?

6-8 who knows, but a lot.

Lol... without saban at bama that 2011 win in Tuscaloosa means shite. It kinda wrecks your goat schedule theory.

That 2011 LSU team wrecked everybody they played except Bama. They would've skulldrug any other team in that NC.

According to final polls, that is a whopping 2 top 16 or 17 teams, without bama. Incredible.

Not to mention the notion of "the greatest team ever" led by one of the worst QBs in SEC history is downright laughable. That alone takes them completely out of the running.

Their defense was stacked for sure. But outside of 3 WRs the whole offensive side of the ball was straight dog shite. And those 3 WRs didn't really make a difference anyway with Jordan Jefferson at QB running the option.

01 Miami was completely loaded and stacked on both sides of the ball. And with much more depth than LSU. 2011 LSU was very good, but not in the same league as 01 Miami, or the mid 90s Nebraska, or even the mid 2000s USC teams.

So...without Bama they would have still gone to the NC, and still beaten the No. 2 team. Undefeated national champions.

Also if Saban wasn't at Bama and his best friend Mark Emmett wasn't President of the NCAA then Bama would have been hit with Lack of Institutional Control and very possibly the Death Penalty. They'd still be recovering to this day, and so far removed from their glory days with Bryant and so many years bottom feeding because of the NCAA sanctions that there'd be no real chance of them ever recovering elite program status and the upcoming generation would view them on par with the Mississippi schools. Oh, and UAB football wouldn't have been murdered for 2 years and would be building a CUSS dynasty that would get them an AAC invite and make them the only competition for Auburn for instate recruits.

It must be soothing for you to visit this alternate reality. Do you do it daily?
