Would be kind of a meh hire…

That said, meh hires sometimes turn out to be good hires.

But to answer your question, I think most LSU fans would be underwhelmed at the hire when announced. Definitely would Not be perceived as a home run.

It would be a safe/logical/boring hire

I still don’t understand how Mizzou gets these soft-arse schedules year after year. It might be inflating his win totals.

He wouldn't be my #1 choice and he gets a lot of flack, but he is a solid coach. We could do way worse. I wouldn't have a huge problem if he got the job, but he could be an option if other names don't pan out.

I'm thinking he might end up at Florida.

Not if I get to punch him in his punchable face.

Would LSU fans like a Drink

You had about 95% of the fanbase interested at this point.

Drinkwitz has never beaten a good team, it would be a disappointing hire.

I can't see him at LSU either. Florida or Penn State both seem like better fits. I hope he stays though, he could bring in a great portal class with all these coaching changes

Like they did with Kelly.
Kelly was a proven winner everywhere he's been. Fit was wrong but he was a proven coach..

If they do they will go from the greatest cultural fit of all time in Ed O to back to back comically bad cultural fits for a program. All time.

I think they're having some buyer's remorse on their fabulous baker boys.

Oh come on now. They stole him from the farm club.

Made him the highest paid DC in the country and got every pennies worth.

Yearly losses under Big Game Brian and The Fabulous Baker Boy...
