This thread is why the SEC Rant sucks.
LF7's sophomore year was one of the best ever in this conference. He has been hurt since before opening day his Jr year.
What is this injury prone nonsense? What is this team accomplishment shite when the OP talks about individual accomplishments?
You people are idiots.
And despite what is said about the NFL argument, it is 100% true. The kid will be a top 10 pick and get paid. Good for him, and that doesn't hurt LSU either with regards to recruiting.
This board is total shite.

Yes, he probably would have. More exposure on a better team and subtract his horrible game against Alabama.

SECr really needs to get over Fournette.
He's from Louisiana. He wanted to play at LSU. He played at LSU. He had a great career here. He's going to be drafted top 10 and make tens of millions of dollars over his career.

You can't know for sure, but you would think his chances would have been atleast 3x higher

No player in college football – not McCaffrey, nor the actual Heisman winner, Alabama’s Derrick Henry — broke more tackles than Fournette last season (85 as a runner, 10 as a receiver),
Leonard Fournette, LSU Tigers
It takes a lot to beat out Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey at the top of this list, seeing as how McCaffrey was PFF’s pick to win the Heisman Trophy last season. But Fournette is close to an unstoppable force as a runner. No player in college football – not McCaffrey, nor the actual Heisman winner, Alabama’s Derrick Henry — broke more tackles than Fournette last season (85 as a runner, 10 as a receiver), en route to his posting the No. 1 rushing grade among RBs Fournette’s power is obvious, but what earns him Adrian Peterson comparisons is his combination of strength and speed. 834 of his 1,916 rushing yards last season came on runs of 15 yards or longer, making him a true breakaway threat in addition to his between-the-tackles effectiveness (on rushes on either side of the center, Fournette averaged 6.5 yards per carry).

That's not a fair question. Any good RB or QB would have won it from Bama just because they are high ranked. JH didn't because he turned it over too much.
Would he have won it from the number 5 team with his numbers? No.
Would he have won it from the number 5 team with his numbers? No.

But the Alabama fans told me Fournette only got his yards against crappy teams that didn't tackle.
